Hi

Thought it about time I introduced my self,live in Nottinghamshire UK and joined ATS looking for answers on a weird experience my daughter and I shared have not come across anyone else with such a close encounter. And this has changed my whole belief on religion. Many may think am a nut job, but am just searching for answers.Anyway pleased to finally meet you all.

Hi and thank you,one evening about dusk went outside for a smoke.my daughter joined me we were just chatting about school when i noticed a red glow lighting up all our neighbours wall thought it was the break lights till it intensified and thought what is then turned round to see huge orb as big as a two seater sofa glide over adjoining wall level with his bedroom windows,came over our garden stopped suddenly over my daughters head dimned a little and shrunk to the size of giant beach ball at that point was fearful for my girl but couldn't move the orb was fiery red round the outside but orange yellow middle as bright as the sun made no noise but lit the whole garden, you could see every blade of grass. My daughter who was directly underneath said when it dimned down she could see it was metallic,no visible openings.the sighting only seemed to last seconds but when it shot away at speed and changed angle of flight I was able to move looked down at my cigarette which i had just lit and was completely gone burnt out ,Since then have seen it many times even changes colour seen it bright white and blue also will add it was abut 4 ft above my daughter also gave off no heat ,Make of it what you will never ever thought about ufos till after that night,

Well told you all, sound even crazy to me spent years looking for logical explanation but to no avail, and I know am going to get plenty of flack over this, not told many people as I sound a right loon but have a need to understand what it was or if anyone else has come into such close contact with something similar.

I googled a little to see if anything of such was also described in your area.
Here is one that I have found:

Name: Neil Westham Sighting Location: Ruddington, Nottingham Sighting Time & Date: 23-30 (approx) 16/06/2012 Sighting Details: I was looking out of my window towards the South…suddenly an orange glowing orb came up into view from behind some buidings. The objuect rose srtight up, then stopped dead, then moved up but at an angle, say towards 10 o’clock, then it stopped for a second then looped a large 360 degree loop before heading North, that’s when i lost it behind other buildings…I moved my postion several times to try to relocate the object but I didn’t see it again. I’d say my total time of viewing this object was 10-15 seconds. It was night so getting a judgement on the objects height, distance from me or size is difficult…This object was not a helicopter or other known aircraft. This objects movement gave it the appearance of having intelligence, it was not a weather balloon, flare or latern, IMO.

You say it has been coming back. Have you tried to establish some sort of communication for eg. wave like you are saying hello. Has it been reacting if so?

Makes you wonder what would you do in the situation like that...

Spent weeks armed with camcorder the first time I forgot to take it out side the orb reappeared, shouted my daughter who ran outside she saw it again then ran back inside as she was running back outside the darn thing went backwards and disappeared. I have not tried to communicate with it scared, me to death first time it came.

Just popped in to say hi, and let you know I had a similar experience when I was about 12 years old, I was walking along a street with my sister and there was a playing field across the road to the right, a little old man was walking along a pathway which went through the field, he was pushing a bycicle, only thing was above his head was a cigar shaped ufo, it was close enough that my sister and I saw windows or portholes in the sides, the old guy didn't look up once, then the ufo shot off, no noise nothing, both of us still talk about it.... there is definitely weird stuff going on....anyway thanks for sharing your story, makes me feel a bit more normal lol....
