second the president is not voted out by individual vote but by the electorial college
I didn't bother reading much in this thread since it's just another person sending out crap hopeing it will take off and have tons of replys, bad mouthing the president

I have to laugh that I had to come to these forums to find out about this story , so it didn't get my attention if it was on the news

S&F Jude. As much as I despise Obama, I don't want him killed and I don't think that is what this billboard is asking for at all. Others obviously disagree. It is what it is to whoever chooses to see it I suppose. I hope he is long gone in November...not dead...but as far away from public office as one can get and still reside on planet earth. JMHO. All this uproar shows how many folks are tired of the BS. Sad thing is, it's coming from both sides of the aisle.

The thing I'm loving about this is that some one feels strongly enough about this that they are willing to invest their personal time and money with no financial gain, (from what I can tell anyway, I could be wrong), its one thing I admire about the citizens of the U.S.A, their passion for politics, you may not all ways be right but at least you give it a go, If this was done in Oz the masses would not pay attention, certainly would not be a news story and some wealthy prick would take offense and it would be removed and replaced with T**s selling erection pills. It's not like it is a potential Obama state...that is just poor use of money.

I think the billboard is in poor taste. Most sane people have no problem discerning the true meaning of it but there are whack jobs out there that will see a call to arms in this. I wonder what kind of attention this would generate if this billboard was in Georgia where they arrested a group that was planning to assassinate the president.

My first thought when I saw it was it implies the military has taken sides. Different people see different things as we can see from the responses in this thread alone so as I said this billboard is in poor taste.

While I don't like our current President, nothing is accomplished by spreading disinformation.

They have listed their licenses as inactive not surrendered them.

Why inactive?

Because you have to pay Bar fees every year, or quarterly depending on your state Bar.
Also anything you do/say remotely like legal advice can get you in trouble if it's wrong, or does harm to the person.
By being inactive you can honestly say "I'm not practicing law, so check whatever I say with an active lawyer".

It's actually just like me and my Fraternity, I could be active on my campus, but I'm recovering from a motorcycle crash so I don't want the obligations of being active.
I don't want to have to pay dues, and be obligated to do things like hold office, serve on a committee etc...
I can still show up and say "Hey y'all I think this idea is cool but you might want to double check blah blah blah...".

So please don't spread disinformation it hurts your cause more than helps.

The language on that billboard is strong and implies that there will be a violent removal of Obama, much like there was one of Osama Bin Laden.
