I understand what you're saying..
It's like this bit of Genesis from the king james version

22: And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us

Us!! us!!
who the heck is he talking about when there is supposed to be just him..

anyway.. something not right.. especially the belly button thing

and where does all that fluff come from?

if they are clones that would mean the gods are men and women, advanced men and women from???

Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus, maybe we should re-name them :- Mars and Venus.

When I used to be affiliated with religion I would go over Genesis with a fine tooth comb trying to figure out a lot of those verses. Not too mention all the other contradictions and mysteries throughout. In the end it just made more sense to believe it was all nonsense instead of trying to make it all fit together.

It always made me wonder how Adam and Eve could have strayed so easily only after such a short time in the garden. I mean weren't they supposed to be like in paradise and buddies with the almighty? Yet, the first chance they get they are sinning and bringing condemnation upon all future generations of humans. It would appear that God's little human experiment didn't go so well.

I would add to this if humans are made in the likeness of god and nobody can see god, shouldn't we be invisible?

We are invisible to the rest of the universe. There is no presence of us as there is no presence of God (it seems).
