They are saying. That the dolphins and whales are being freed. We're killing them in the oceans, and now we will lose them and they are being freed.

This is a direct message to us, to look up. And this should show us something else, how intelligent nature is, and responsive. And even, how spiritually aware.

If that is what they were trying to show us they could have at least formed a shape of a human being holding a spear or something. Or did I miss the part that killer whales are also predatory animals and hunt other porpoises?

HOLY COW PEOPLE!!!

RELAX!

Can someone show me where I said this was fake???

Looks like I need to quote myself since no one bothered to actually READ my post.

Ahem,

I know better than to just come out and call it a fake.
There are too many people who need this to be real.

I WILL say that, as a photographer, things LIKE this are very easily done in photoshop.
Take it for what it's worth.

YOu guys act like I just told you there's no Santa Clause or something.
This picture is 100% real I'm sure.
It's gonna be ok.

I wonder if scientists at HAARP are fooling around again with their technology, or if Project Blue Beam got an upgrade in their technology.

it's either the above or that nature works in mysterious ways.

I think it is the latter case (nature works in awesome ways!)

S+F

... It's probably the latter, because the first half of your post is ridiculous...

What does HAARP or PBB have anything to do with starlings demonstrating their amazing ability to mimic their surroundings in a synchronized fashion?

As for the OP: Pretty cool picture, I don't think this type of thing is impossible - animals are capable of amazing things.
I'd like to know how 'real' this is, but I also don't doubt it's authenticity as I have seen crazier things in my short life, as it is.

Magic right there, S+F.

You do realize of course the starlings do not minic their suroundings.

As someone who watches them all the time, I can say if this is a real shot it is just a lucky shot as they are shaping and moving in their swarm. If you shot pictures of them long enough and fast enough it would look like things just like cloud pictures do. Their form changes swiftly and constantly.

I think it looks a bit more like a confrontation or chase only because the pointy part of one "cloud" is touching the dolphin shaped one. But yes, we could make a less violent interpretation, as well.

When I went to the link to the original Daily Mail article there was another picture by the same photographer showing the birds quickly did another formation that looked like an octopus. It is really a bit like cloud watching...nature is forming shapes at random but our minds are assigning the meaning based on our experiences. When migration time starts in my area I do believe I will pay more attention this time! Who knows what interesting things I might see this year!
