silence falls

the dog is still barking outside.

the wind is still blowing.

rain will be falling shortly.

people are still shouting at each other.

trucks and cars are moving.

the noise is growing louder and louder all the time.


but inside, deep inside, a strange silence has fallen.

once , you had to go in search of this deep silence. but now, it has come to the surface from the deep. you can feel it. you can almost touch it. very very strange.

it feels like many have already left.

this is not a short story. stories are used for the sole purpose of manipulating the thoughts of the reader. that is not my intention.

the wind and rain is silent. they move in silence. they only make noise on arrival at their destination.

its drawing to a close. all of it. those who have not previously sought out the silence will shortly be defeaned by it as it arrives on their doorstep unannounced.

but its ok.

you might be driving in your car or riding on the bus. you might have music playing , or listening to an argument on the radio. you might be watching tv.

but you are not hearing the music, you are not hearing the argument, you are not seeing the tv properly. the truth is you are somewhere else.
