US Military Wargaming Termination of Tea Party Extremists

While I have never been to a Tea Party event, or voted for someone who is "tea party" that I can recall, I would say I agree with probably 75% of what they (originally) represent. I get tired though of people saying," oh, tea party, they hate the government, or they don't want the government, or they think there should be NO taxes whatsoever, they want to get rid of fireman, cause that's government."

Stupidity. Of course we need a government. But we don't need a a large, costly, buearcracy that's in EVERYTHING. I think the feds she be pretty minimal, like National Defense, Roads, basic safety, diplomacy, etc. Keep the vast majority of the social stuff to the states.

GOOD, send them all to Somalia where they can live their anarcho-capitalist fantasy.

And this thread is real uneducated, the right wing extremism DOD doc was about Nazis and other White Supremacist groups.

The last thing the government wants to do is get rid of the Tea Party, they are fascist, and help complete the neo- feudalistic dream.

They don't have brains because they don't like Socialism? Wake up dude, socialized medicine is a joke. Do your research. Socialism has bankrupted every country is has been tried in. Obama is a socialist... before you go on some rant about nothing he said it in his own words in his book.

I don't expect to change the minds of the left, I don't believe they have the capacity to open their eyes. Find one example of socialism living up to their promises and not leaving the country broke at the end.

The TRUE members of the Tea Party represent everything that the government fears...smaller government and personal responsibility. I say true members, the ones before the GOP / Koch Brothers, who did represent real change in government. The writing has been on the wall for awhile now. The government classifying patriots as domestic terrorists, while true acts of extremism, like that Fort Hood shooting, gets labeled as workplace violence.

You know what kills me.....no pun intended here...

Instead of training our people in the Military and Law Enforcement to become our enforcers and jailers when they finally push too far some day, for some folks, they could solve this in an entirely different way.

How about, instead of teaching Americans how to fight Americans, they actually DO drop the tone of hate and outright civil strife that has infected the whole system since 9/11....and honestly, well before that. The real hard, sharp edge came from 9/11, so I use that date.

All sides and all levels have been guilty and continue to be. We're so far underwater economically, we can't get out by sheer math....yet we must watch each other as the enemy. We're watching our nation gear up for war against yet more nations....yet we must watch each other and fear our own troops (or so they'd have it).

Perhaps... The problem isn't with each other at all and perhaps, it never has been. Seabag, I think your OP shows the problem lies with those at the top, whichever letter they have on the end of their names.

Firsst off - NOT a member of the Tea Party!

Three easy questions, seriously really easy.

1. Can someone post any illegal act done by a member of the Tea Party at any of their events?
2. Can someone post any illegal act done at an Occupy event by an attendee?
3. Based on answer to 1 & 2 above whom should the government be wargaming scenarios about?

Of course the real answer is nobody on the domestic front should be wargamed by the military or its various think tanks of course we've also mostly forgotten the warnings by the founders about having professional standing armies also.

With the kind of language you see from these people, from Judge Head of Texas or even just your average far-right extremeist poster on ATS, about how they're anxiously waiting for the revolution to begin, waiting to 'hang the traitors' and shoot the president and a thousand other veiled (or not) threats, is it any surprise that the military would be putting plans in place to tackle that scenario.

A great deal of it is without doubt just idle talk, but when stupid people get angry they're liable to start doing stupid things.

We're going to lose. TPTB will get their way because they have had provocateurs on both sides of the political spectrum for a long time, egging their side toward extremism and aggravating the opposing side. All the powers want is more hate. Whatever side is in power, the other side will become the political enemies and all the anger will just be used to develop us further into a police state.

It seems many intelligent people have been turned into trolls. Truthers like Alex Jones seem to have been turned into puppets to disseminate the extreme views of (relatively) real and manufactured events. He seems to have developed some serious "inside" sources. Guys, please see how they are playing us. Go in peace and discern the truth carefully.

Then why do TPTB demonize TTP every chance they get. The media even tried to associate the Colorado shooter with TTP within hours, long before they even knew the details. Do you remember this fallacious attack and mischaracterization of TTP? Dean tells us how the Tea Party will get violent yet violence has never occurred at a tea party event.
