CIA spies have smuggled up to 14 Stinger missiles into Syria so rebels can defend themselves from air strikes. The ground-to-air weapons have been delivered across the Turkish border to the Free Syrian Army and were partly paid for by Saudi Arabia, a security source claimed.

LOL, looks like the west is funding the terrorists again and causing untold death and destruction and urging the 'rebels' to keep on killing while CNN paints a picture that Assad is the one doing the attacking while in reality he is defending from a western/arab sponsored coup.

PS: Picture does not show a stinger, but a sidewinder.

And will said spies insure proper deployment? I don't know about this one but we'll soon see if one gets dropped.

Excellent, Nice job of summing that up. Could not have said it better myself.

Very true.

Lets just hope that they not mistake an Airbus for a fighter.
Happened before by trained professionals, now we have missiles in the hands of amateurs

Hey I still recall that story about a black hawk we lost to a JSTARS aircraft indentifying it as a HIND D.

So we are forming up a new Taliban in Syria, just like we did in Afghanistan. Not a very good idea. They tend to knock down our buildings a few years later. Freedom fighters become the enemy, so I guess we are fighting against freedom. Good job of being evil CIA.

I think you're confusing the Taliban and the Mujaheddin.

RE: Your post-script... How will the rebels launch an infra-red missile?
CIA Spies just aren't very good, are they? They get reported on by the tabloids...
Covert? Not us. We get to publish!

Is there anything wrong with trying to help a group of people trying to fight for their freedom? Or maybe the US should side with Assad and start killing these 'terrorists' with them?

No matter what you think. No matter what you've been told. You have the ability to make decisions for yourself. This debacle you speak of cannot be predicted. It hasn't happened yet.

Lets go back to Libya. The evil dictator Gaddafi had absolute rule over Libya. This is a history lesson, in video form.

The evil dictator of Libya.

Take what you want from that. I hope you realize you are being influenced and lied to.

The word freedom just means excuse to get the oil. Nobody got any freedom from the actions of the US. The word terrorist just means anti-American.

do you really know what you are talking about?

Fighting for freedom? by doing the exact thing they are supposedly fighting against? slaughtering civilians in the name of Allah for "Freedom"?

this is a Proxy war, a western backed regime to destroy from the inside out,

and lets pretend it's not a Proxy War, lets pretend the 'Rebels' are fighting on their own accord, do you support that massacre? do you support one side killing against another in the Name of Freedom?

what makes Assad different in attacking back? he is fighting for his Freedom, whatever that may be, who is right? and who is to say

Yes it is wrong, especially when these terrorists / freedom fighters are murdering and raping innocent women , children and men for said freedom.
Yes it is wrong that One country ( USA ) is paying for and weaponising these terrorists to commit its war crimes.

Or maybe the US should side with Assad and start killing these 'terrorists' with them?

Or MAYBE the USA should just keep its nose out of every other countries business.
There are many countries in Africa that could do with a government change but you dont see the USA sticking its nose into their business do you.
Thats right the USA did try in Somalia but we all now how well that went for the US dont we.

Lol, stinger missiles are in no way shape or form offensive weapons.
They can only be used defensively against Assad's offensively used air forces.

Thanks for proving yet again the rebels are the defenders and Assad is the aggressor.

Is this a new development ontop of the one previously dicussed here www.abovetopsecret.com...

While it has been known for sometime that the terrorists have had Stinger missiles being bought for by Saudi Arabia and Qatar this is the first admission from the corporate media that the CIA is smuggling them to the terrorists. The revelation comes from an AP article printed on the UK Mirror which reveals the reveals that 14 stinger missiles smuggled by the CIA were partly funded by Saudi Arabia.
The report reveals the missiles the CIA smuggle the missiles through NATO member Turkey after whitch

If this is indeed a new occurance, the US has quite a logistic stream heading into Syria. Whats next a Abrams being piloted by the rebels.

As i have started to mention in other threads, my opinion on this whole conflict has dramtically changed. The rebels have been executing and using prisoners as suicide bombers and the US still backs them.....

Excuse me while i throw up.

Edit: After further research, this article has already been presented. please refer to original thread for details posted above.

Just fourteen? That's not really what i call useful towards any long term goal, i doubt the CIA cares whether the rebels win or lose.
