Hollywood Director Tony Scott jumps off bridge!

I did a quick search for this and found nothing.

"Top Gun" director Tony Scott fatally jumped off the Vincent Thomas Bridge in San Pedro on Sunday afternoon, according to Los Angeles police sources.

His body was pulled out of the water by Los Angeles Police Department, California Highway Patrol and U.S. Coast Guard officials.

[Updated at 9:42 p.m.: Investigators found a note in his car, which was parked on the bridge. That note listed contact information. They later found a suicide note at his office.

An earlier version of this story said the suicide note was found in his car.] Law enforcement sources said several witnesses saw Scott, the brother of director Ridley Scott, climb over a fence on the bridge and jump off. The coroner's office identified him Sunday evening.

Scott was a respected action-movie director who also made "Enemy of the State," "Beverly Hills Cop II" and "Crimson Tide."

This is just breaking so I wonder just what happened and what lead up to this.

On a personal note, I really enjoyed this man's work. I especially liked how he cleverly started using subtitles in a unique and different way in movies like "Man on Fire" and "Domino".

Wow, that's sad... and chilling at the same time. You usually don't think of successful, wealthy people ending their own lives, but you never really know what a person is going through. Everybody you know is going through something. Whatever it was for this man, it was more than he could face. Bless him. Bless us all!

really horrible, Ridley scott lost his first brother right after he did alien, now later his other brother of 68* years ends his life at the finishing line. I feel for him and his family.

I'm very conflicted in believing Tony parked his Black Prius near the bridge and without a pause jumped off the bridge. 911 callers said he never paused. Also no one saw any other people near him so he did do it solo. However, why leave a wonderful wife and kids behind when your life is so successful? His brother and he may have had a small sibling rivalry but it was not so big to cause one to end it all. Yes Depression and antidepressants can cause this reaction to life... However is there any evidence that he was on them? I find it strange that a director who has done so many movies involving the American intelligence community and other "conspiracy theory" type genres, would never ever piss-off some IC-psychopathic/sociopaths* (*not clinical only personality traits) people at the organizations he tries to expose in his movies. I mean in the EOS (1998) with Will Smith/Gene Hackman Tony actually exposed the US Homeland Security TIA & Patriot Acts (2002/2003) well before it was even being publicized.His other movies were pretty much in the same venue. Then there is his post production movies and developmentals. The Lincoln Assassination is too old to be pertinent IMHO. I mean we now know that Lincoln's Dr. caused his death by unsanitary digital probing of the bullet wound. John Wilkes Booth's real socio-political affiliations have been exposed recently. But who cares? It was over 100 years ago? How about Top Gun II? Is there anything revealing or embarrassing to the IC-sociopaths in that? But it's a frickin' movie!!! It would be easier to just make fun of it on social media and other propaganda venues.

It seems to me that with the Aurora CO incident and others that have that "Manchurian Candidate" flavor to it, it might be apparent that maybe there was some "behavioral modification" ramifications here. I mean the folks that have DARPA federal grants to research such stuff are in for instance UCLA Berkeley and other institutions of mainstream academia. These grants are disguised as Epilepsy Mediation and other stuff people like the late Dr. Jose Delgado and late Dr. Sydney Gottlieb (aka Joe Schneider) (et al) were known for.

Yes I know it's a Conspiracy Theory but isn't this the place for such things??? I can't wait to hear what the suicide note in his office said. A real work of fiction or reality? Watch for misspellings and grammatical errors. Tony was very educated and British. IMO typical American IC-Sociopaths are not - when 'suiciding' folks and leaving fake notes behind. They also make errors in conceptual logic based on the person's life. Like Overwhelming Financial DEBTS: Tony made so much money he had more money than God! What debts could he have? Then Life Insurance policies don't usually pay off on suicide. Do you realize how ridiculous this suicide looks? It makes no sense at all. If so, somebody did some piss-poor wet-work planning on this. Much the same way how Congressman Paul Gillmor's, John Wheeler III's, recent deaths seem totally suspicious.
