12 year Christian radio host. (that right there killed it for me)

Christian radio already has an agenda "spreading christian propaganda"
Especially on this subject. "it says so in the great book of revelations!" just look at the present day.
All this "whistleblowing" info is just to tie in on his "doomsday" predictions to instill the fear of god into non believers & confirm what believers already know.

Propaganda at its finest!

right , because everything a russia spy says is true...ok...yeah, that's proof for me...NOT!

Well the colonel has been telling his story for years. If the entire story is bogus then please explain all the other evidence; is this all make-believe too?

You saw what happened in the ME when the US built up its capabilities in the region. What makes you think the capabilities Russia and Iran are building in S. America won’t be used? What makes you think the relationship between Russia and China isn't geared toward defeating the US? Who would they need to "team up" to defeat...South Korea?

Yes, I’m almost willing to dismiss the “DHS informant” part of the story based on the position and background of the person reporting it. I agree that there seems to be an agenda here by Wiles.

HOWEVER, there is more to the story and I certainly believe this scenario is plausible. Look at all of the other evidence in this thread. The only thing not corroborated is the existence of the 20,000 troops referred to by the anonymous DHS guy; everything else seems legit.

Well, Wiles is just a radio guy, he's not the leaker.

Bill Cooper was on the radio for over a decade exposing far more before he was killed.

Alex Jones is still alive!

If AJ hits a tree after his brakes fail then Wiles better consider finding a new career in hurry.

If AJ's brakes went out and he survived, he would say its a conspiracy involving Midas/GM/ & the mitchlin man
That wanted him silenced for speaking against the oil cartels!

It couldn't just be bad breaks. Everyone wants to take him out. He's public enemy number one to TPTB
(according to jones)

It's hard to kill a fat mouthed Texan! They just wont die/shut up!

Yes, he’s fond of himself. However, as trivial as some of his stories are he definitely isn’t getting any Christmas cards from TPTB.

I agree….I'm a Texan (born and raised)!

Sounds like a great plot for a crappy movie or video game.

Red Dawn, anyone?

Reality of course is a different ball game. Not only is their no military logic to such a scenrio but, their is no political logic to it either.

What’s the reality you speak of? Russia, China, Iran et al are all peaceful nations who would never do harm to the US and have no animosity at all?

Russia and China both have a vested intrerest in the US remaining a great power. Do they want to out compete the US in certain areas of the world? Absolutely. Do they want the US gone? No. Without the US you would see a military arms race across the planet and new nuclear powers popping up over night. All that would be very bad for both Russia and China who have more fear of each other than they do the US. Life is cheaper, easier, and safer for both Russia and China with the US as top dog. And while on occasion they do what they can to limit US power, they just as often are working hand in hand with the US on other issues. And I will not even get into how silly the idea of the so called invasion is, common sense should make that clear.

As if they couldn’t do their own policing of the world…

Really??

I guess you conveniently missed this post.

Well…we’ll agree to disagree. I certainly don’t think it’s silly at all. If Russia is no threat to US then please explain the Cuban missile crisis and the subsequent arms race and cold war.

Russia and China can not do any world policing. They do not have the ability to project power much beyond their own borders. China and Russia combined would be hard pressed to invade, say Peru much less the US. For a modern military to fight it needs a massive amount of supplies. On your own territory or right next door this is not to hard to do. But when you move away from those borders it becomes much much harder. Do you have any idea how much ammunition alone a force would need for high intensity sustained combat that would be faced against a modern power? China and Russia have navies that have are small, out of date and have little to no idea how to operate far from their borders. Its a big deal when they sail a ship or two around the world.

Beyond its large size, high degree of training, force multipliers, experience and high technology the thing that truly makes the US the worlds greatest power is its ability to supply a massive logistics trail. Nobody comes close. The Brits and the French can in small numbers.

Here is a simple example. The Falklands Island conflict between Argentina (a minor power) and the UK (one of the worlds few great powers). The UK at that point still had a much larger force as it was the tail end of the cold war. And yet the Falklands was a very near thing and required a national effort. That same action for the US would have been a quick affair.

Now you look at Russia and China's forces today. They are large and limited in mobile formations. That is because they are gearded to fight on their own borders. They do not have the ability to project power for any distance. The cost to change this would be so large that it end up breaking the Soviet Union leaving the shell of a great power that Russia is today.

The fact remains Russia and China will work together to try and limit US power in some areas, while at the same time working with the US against each other areas. This is not a video game where you have to have sides. This modern geo-politics and it is much more complex that.

As for the Cold War and the Soviet Union being a threat, they were to Europe with conventional forces and to the US with nuclear forces but, Russia is not the Soviet Union. not evern close.

I’m quite aware of Geo-politics…no need to be snarky.

I understand your position though I disagree that, if the opportunity was presented, Russia and China wouldn’t move to knock the US back a few decades. If I’m right and we counter these moves then the relationship stays the same. If I’m right and we ignore these moves we could be crushed. Why not err on the side of caution and work hard to remain ahead economically, militarily and strategically? Why not take all threats seriously rather than dismissing them based on our own interpretation of the Geo-political conditions?

We do take all threats seriously, very much so. What your talking about it is a fantasy not a threat. Russia and China need the US to counter each other and keep from dealing with things like Germany and Japan starting massive arms races and going nuclear because they no longer have US protection. Of course all that does not matter because it is completely and totaly beyond their abilities. China and Russia much greater threats closer to home and that is the threats they concentrate on.

In YOUR opinion…..

It’s not a ‘fantasy’ to me and all of the people who I quoted and linked. What makes your opinion more valid than mine or Jeff Nyquist’s?

I’m not saying everything in the OP is going to happen. I’m just saying the potential is there. Is it likely?? I doubt it but stranger things have happened and the buildup in the Russian and Chinese militaries as well as the alliances they are building with rogue nations like Iran are alarming to me and others.

Maybe my personal experiences have made me more concerned than you about the possibilities of war? People who have never been in a serious car accident aren’t nearly as cautious while driving as those who have. Either way, it’s an interesting subject and one I will be following.

That Russian spy says all that happened during the 70s and 80s. If I remember correctly, there was this faux war going on then.. What was it called again?

I would see no political reason for the United States to be attacked by the Russians in this day and age.

That’s all that you may know of but more has happened for sure.

The FBI has arrested 10 people who allegedly spied for Russia for up to a decade - posing as innocent civilians while trying to infiltrate U.S. policymaking circles and learn about U.S. weapons, diplomatic strategy and political developments.

An 11th defendant - a man accused of delivering money to the agents - remains at large.

The story feels like a throw-back to the cold war, reports CBS News correspondent Bob Orr. Cryptic codes and money drops involving secret agents the U.S. government charges are spies for Russia.

Care to explain the S. America dabbling too?

I would see no political reason for the United States to be attacked by the Russians in this day and age.

No reason??

Upsetting the entire world balance and losing more money in the long run? What about NATO? The entire world will be pulled into a war, and if you want power how can you exercise it on top of a giant pile of rubble?

WW3?? Say it ain’t so!

The US economy is on the path of failure now. The world balance will shift soon regardless. With all due respect, I think Russia and China (and many others – including many within the US including Obama) would like to see the US defeated and marginalized.

That’s my opinion…
