Chenny blames Al Qaeda for Egypt bombings (probably)

Does Chenny know something the Egyptian officials dont? Or is he just blowing smoke out his a$$....



Vice President Dick Cheney said on Tuesday that al Qaeda was probably responsible for the bombings on the Egyptian Sinai peninsula that killed at least 32 people.
Cheney, campaigning in Iowa, said last week's attack on the Taba Hilton, on Egypt's border with Israel, "looks like it probably was an al Qaeda attack," though he added, "We don't know for sure yet."

Cheney is the first senior U.S. official to publicly single out al Qaeda for the bombings, which hit Egyptian Red Sea resorts frequented by Israelis. Israel has said it suspects the al Qaeda network in the bombings, but Egyptian officials have tended to link the attacks to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Wow! Everyone: Palestinian/Israel conflict. Cheney: Al Queda. Hmmmm, who is right? And who is trying to make it look like Al Q is still a threat?

I saw something on the news that a branch of A.Q. sent out a videotape claiming responsibility for the bombings in Egypt. What's so sinister about Cheney saying it?
