You notice the talk about debt and inflation, in the member's guide of modern presidents you will notice that while the economy grew, the debt grew just as much or more.

It's a never ending bubble. And yes, the fellow was spot on with his speech. But doubtful he would receive the same amount of cheers today.

Sad really. I mean, we've seen videos like the one you present, from decades ago, telling us exactly what is going on; what needs our attention and what others are planning... others without a care in the world for our country. Yes, we've heard it before... the Chaplin speech. The Kennedy speech. Eisenhower.

Nothing changes.

I wish we as a nation would listen. People don't listen anymore. Words don't mean as much as they used to.

The problem that he mentions in the video is the lack of a device that can spread the wisdom of his speech.

Flash-forward a couple years and we have the internet. His idea is here and being spread at an alarming rate.

I wonder what the future holds. How can we unite a populace capable of the same critical thinking? Our problem is no longer education. It is letting the government understand that we know about the corruption and illogical responses on their part which lead to a thinner line between liberty and imprisonment.

America is being sucked dry. Once all the juices are gone there will be nothing left for us.

You can't get full off of a dollar note.

Is this a hoax? I don't think this is from 1958...... why would he reference Nixon as a President at the 5:20 something mark?

I will go back and listen a third time but I clearly heard him reference to Nixon being a President... could be a voice over or something.....

like I said ... I'll listen again....

at 5:27-30 it appears that someone has added Richard Nixon into the clip... there is a slight pause right there that is not natural...

I don't know what else might be edited but it definitely says Richard Nixon and it is slightly different....

That's the problem with ATSers in general ... rushing to call "hoax" while their eyes and ears are clearly closed.

It says at the very beginning that it's a 1974 speech and not much further into the video it starts with him quoting himself from 1958. This is a 1974 speech and it very clearly says so.
