There will also be a RNC bump after that convention.
There will also be a DNC bump after that convention as well.
Then Obama will win (because he has swing-Florida).

Everybody knows Joe Biden would look like a fool trying to debate Paul Ryan.

Except Romney has no history of creating jobs. As governor, he was 47th in the nation. But the state's unemployment numbers improved. Want to know why? The state was such a disaster that the young and others looking for work left the state in droves, coming in second only to Louisiana in the numbers of people leaving their states. Of course, Louisiana had Katrina that year, which is a pretty good excuse. MA had Romney.

Right. Because Paul Ryan is such an expert in foreign policy.

I just don't see it.
I have heard it on conservative radio, and I have seen your posts, but the people I know that support Obama are not wavering, and they are not worried, and they are not switching sides. The people I know that hate Obama, are planning to vote for Romney, but not because they like him. Paul Ryan solidified the Tea Party and anti-Obama vote, but it didn't do anything to make in-roads with women, or Hispanics, or conservative Democrats. Paul Ryan was a fundraising choice, not a choice to win any extra votes.
I can't wait for November, because after this November, no matter who wins, hopefully more Americans will wake up and realize it doesn't matter if the state is blue or red, or if the candidate has an "R" or "D" by their name. All the candidates are corporate shills, and all the voters are pawns and slaves. Hopefully this election will energize the population to make a real, and a significant change for a change.

Wow.. 10 electoral votes, in a candidate that isn't official from a poll that doesn't count.
I am sorry guy, but Romney has no chance of winning. Ryan was a horrible choice and will do nothing, but lose Romney votes. They will start attacking him hard if Romney takes the convention with no problem (though I think there will be problems) and the elderly will not support Ryan.
Romney is every republicans last choice (seriously). He just doesn't have the support to unseat a president.
I will come back to all your threads soon enough with a big bag of i-told-you-so's. I will also be sure to remind you you should have supported RP with the rest of us "common sense fellers."edit on 17-8-2012 by GogoVicMorrow because: (no reason given)

President Mitt Romney will lower the unemployment rate to 4%.
Our GDP Growth will jump to 7%.

I hate to break it to you, but corporations do not want the unemployment rate to fall that low. Low unemployment creates scarcity and drives up employee incomes and benefits. Republicans are not going to do something that angers the hands that feed them.
