Something curious about the flying dots in the background. Blew them up and got this. So I guess I would ask the question. Why are there UFO's on Mars?

Well, it's clear for me:

You guys found evidence for life on Mars, not only one life-form, but TONS, in that picture alone.
Now NASA is panicking, "pulling" the images as fast as they can before the knowledge becomes public.
I bet NASA was really busy to erase all the evidence the last few days (where the rover had the, COUGH "firmware update", COUGH)...in reality, they were SHOCKED by all the findings and it took them 3-4 days to go through all the images to "correct" them and re-upload them on their site.

I haven't been thru the whole thread yet, but..

Maybe there is something there they don’t want anyone to see. It just my opinion, but have someone run the photos thru some filtering software to see if they’re hiding something.

Well, technically, Curiosity would be the UFO on Mars. We're the aliens there.

And regarding the rocks; yes, they are rocks, but they are MARTIAN rocks which is cooler.

The snip from gigapan labelled "fossil" gave me chills. I'm not one to believe that there's life on mars, but no other pattern in the dirt looks ANYTHING like that. It resembles a spinal column of something.

The funny thing is that I spotted it myself while combing over your huge panoramic tiff image, then I saw the saved labels below in the GigaPan of exactly what I was staring at.

Props to you, Impaired. this is awesome.
