US will attack Iran by June 2013

American and Israeli officials are working to arrange a meeting between US President Barack Obama and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at which the White House will assure Israel that the US will use force to stop Iran’s nuclear weapons drive by next June at the latest if the Islamic Republic has not halted its program by then, Israel’s Channel 10 news reported on Tuesday night.

The meeting will take place in New York or Washington at the end of September or the very beginning of October, the report said. David Axelrod, senior strategist in Obama’s re-election campaign, is coordinating arrangements for the meeting, the report said.

The key formulation being discussed for Obama to assure Netanyahu is that the US “will attack Iran by June 2013″ if the Iranian nuclear weapons drive has not halted by then, the report said.

In light of the recent reports, I highly doubt the Israeli Gov't/Military are willing to wait another full year before they attempt to halt the Iranian Nuclear Programme. Especially after all the comments in regards to "weeks not months" before a decision will need to be mad.

I'm almost positive that if Israel strikes Iran's military/nuclear sites without the US's initial help from their cruise missiles and airplanes, that once one missile hits the US Green Zone in Iraq (Which will be a main target), then the US will hit back hard.

My guess is a attack around March/April 2013. I've talked to a couple of my buddies that are deploying to the Afghanistan border on the Iran side at that time. They're hoping for an attack then anyways..

There is no reason for the US to murder another country for these terrorists.
There is nothing for the US to gain by further propping up the lie that we call israel.
Too many US citizens now know their treachery.
If these people need the Iranians exterminated, they will simply have to go it alone.

"Working to arrange a meeting" The title of the article is swimming in sensationalism, not your fault OP, but its these kinds of articles that create so much confusion on the issue.

There is nothing definitive here, all we have is that they want to arrange a meeting what a joke.

never before have I seen so many secret plans revealed or open warnings to another nation...only on the internet and ATS I wonder how many people knew about the war plans during WWI and WWII

Wasn't the US supposed to be in an all out middle eastern confrontation by now? Last I heard of any US involvement, people were saying war would break out at the beginning of summer.

I'll take this with a grain of salt, just as I did when the last wolves came crying. Although, you have presented an actual reason for US intervention! That's way further than the jokers saying war would be under way ever got. So, I'll continue to monitor this thread to see if any new information is dug up to further support this claim.

If this is true then Obama is just trying to bide time until after the election at which point I believe that Obama intends to divide Israel and give parts of it to the Islamic caliphate via the Palestinians. Obama hates Israel but can't do anything about it until after the election. Israel just needs to go ahead and attack Iran at which point Obama will be pulled into it against his will. Obama can then puff out his chest and stick his nose in the air and talk about how great he finds himself to be for defending the U.S. and Israel against Iran.
