One of two officers shot during an incident on Fidelity Street in College Station has died, according to several sources.
The incident appears to have unfolded about 12:15 p.m. at a house in the historical district of the city close to George Bush Drive. The Eagle's police scanner early on picked up dispatchers saying that two officers were wounded. Initial reports state one was a constable.
Authorities confirmed that the suspect was in custody; it wasn't clear if gunfire was exchanged. The person apparently was barricaded in a home for a short period.

If he has an automatic gun then its most likely rifle. the average cop doesnt have the body armor to stop rifle rounds. Ave cops wear soft armor for side arm rounds. Rifle rounds you need plates.
whats up with all these shoots?
copy cats?
fales flags?
People losing it because of the economic conditions?
On the KBTX page I linked I see a constable's office vehicle. Now when a call goes out, EVERYONE (Sheriff, Constable, PDs ect ect) goes, but that picture might suggest it could be a warrant service gone bad (ie bad guy saw them coming maybe).. Some Constable Offices in Texas do Felony Warrant service on top of the misdemeanor warrant services they all do.

What? Are lower crime rates not appealing to gun owners?
The U.S should be no.1 in the world for the lowest amount of crime. That's not going to happen when any loon can buy a gun.
