because from what I saw, the flag was on the side

Don't you think it would be the most stupid thing ever for the US to imprison its own people under Marshall law? literally the entire world would condemn it along with 99% of its military & leaders, its not even in the realms of fantasy, it more in the realms of total stupidity

Right on! Even if the US government could imprison all of us, where would they get the manpower to hunt all armed dissenters down? The People vastly outnumber all amount of troops the government could in fact put on the ground, and there is no guarantee they would be loyal to their masters. I think if the government really wanted to do this martial law lock everyone up thing, they would have done it a long time ago.

First thing I noticed. Wondered what it meant? Like anti American? But now I read it means wartime. We are so screwed. This is against the people not any thing else.

Maybe it's for training or going somewhere to be fixed, who knows. I think it's odd how people get so paranoid when they see anything out of the ordinary, which may be more common than they realize. That Homeland Security vehicle could have been shipped all around the country for all we know and someone 1 time in their life seen it and took a picture... OMG!
Just like the post on the tanks moving across California.(which is a old video btw) that someone uploaded currently and spread it around as new.
I live in a town population 10,000 and I see Homeland Security vehicles all the time. Should I take pictures and start a scary thread? No!

Get a hold of yourselves!

If you want to be scared about something, look around at how crazy people have gotten, that should keep you busy for the next several years!

The government knows our military wouldn't turn on it's own awhile back on another site people where talking about the training of other countries military here in the USA. Chinese being one group and the UN was leading them.

You have to be prepared for anything no matter how strange it might sound.

It may also be because of all the millions of dollars worth of pot plants being grown out there. A few months ago a FBI, or ATF investigator was found dead with his throat cut way out in the boonies were they grow all the pot.

They do that on Military Vehicles and Uniforms, no biggy. The Vehicle itself is what is disturbing.

Looks to me Homeland Security will be doing alot more then gropping you at an airport in the near future. Look at the off road 4x4 tires. I doubt they will be used to round up illegals in Kentucky.

Notice whats said on the side of the APC "Special Response Team"

Notice the flag is backwards on the truck. "In wartime the flag is worn backwards to show advancement.. take the flag and put it on a flag-pole and run at the enemy.. it flies backwards"

Hat tip to libra75 for catching that, make sure to star him/her

wiki.answers.com...

This thing would do well on the boarder but shipping it in kentucky is beyond me. Maybe it has something to do with the 450 million rounds ordered by Homeland Security or maybe the "Department of Homeland Security characterizing Americans who are “suspicious of centralized federal authority,” and “reverent of individual liberty” as “extreme right-wing” terrorists"

This is to be used on the border, and for domestic terrorism response. The mission though is to combat Mexican cartels.. It was probably built or fitted in Kentucky, or maybe just passing thru.

HI everyone! Just out of curiousity, do you think the equipment is being moved to locations near the underground bunker/ city entrances? Do you think they could be moving essential equipment to higher ground? I realize that there is a ton of speculation and no one has proof of any theory. These kinds of things are secret. We have a future filled with unknowns. Just like the Dr. Sal thing, we are also being bombarded with Dis-information. I love the discussion I find at ATS. I am getting weary of messages that have no beef to them , so to speak. If the time to live in peace with my family is so short, I do not feel I have time to wade through the bull@#$t! Honestly folks, do you have time for it ?

Could this be for a movie? A while back there was concern over military vehicles being transported to the North-West (Oregon). They ended up being for the new Red Dawn movie.

That's not just another armored SUV, that's an MRAP! widely used by the US Army.

MRAP stands for Mine Resisting Ambush Protected.

So it's a military grade vehicle.

The flag is backwards on the military uniforms worn by the U.S. military in Iraq and Afghanistan. I was told by my son it is because they are advancing toward the enemy.

The flag is backwards when we are at war, or the troops are deployed.

When you get deployed you can velcro reversed flags on your shoulder, when you redeploy (come back) you can put the regular ones back on.

At least, that's how it was 10+ years ago.

Its called preparation. they have these vehicles *IN CASE*. Sometimes they need to be transported. Show me a pick of one actually being used, and I will start to worry.

Nothing a little homemade napalm couldn't take care of. Those rubber tires would burn nicely. A can of black paint mixed with some sticky adhesive like material for the front windshield.

I could ambush that thing with a cup of coffee.
