Not one apology. Just more BS.

So all those fear mongers from the Olympic threads, not one of them comes back and offers an apology. Or, just a simple "yeah, I was wrong". No, rather they come up with even more ludicrous and absurd theories.

The one that leaves me totally in awe of their obvious delusion is "Yes, because we posted all these symbols and signs, it became well known, so we prevented it" I mean really, WTF.

Just admit you were wrong, nothing happened, and I am for one am happy it went off without a hitch. Since the beginning of these ridiculous theories regarding the Olympics, I have maintained, and tried to convince some, that nothing will happen. I even said, that in the unlikely case that I might be wrong, I will apologize. Yet, I don't have too, because nothing happened.

Now I see more threads popping up, about the closing ceremony! FFS, just drop it already!! Its finished, and you all should be happy that nothing transpired. I get the feeling some are even dissapointed that nothing took place. I for one find that sickening, and it shows how delusional some people are.

I understand that you have the right to free speech, and that since its a conspiracy forum, such topics will pop up. But I ask you fearmongers and doomprophets, please go back, look at the silly stuff you read into the posters, the stadiums, and all the other things, and then reflect upon yourselves, and see how utterly wrong you were.

And then, if you can find it in your hearts, just say sorry, for being wrong, and admittedly getting sweeped up in the whole silly symbology.

I'm not one of the ones who made a prediction about the Olympics, but how do you know that nothing happened? What if a toxic chemical or biological agent were dispersed during the firework display or some other means? What if there was an incubation period of a few days before effects were felt? I would wait a few days before requesting an apology, or at least enough time to know that tons of people didn't get sick.

Of course I don't think something like that happened, then again I wouldn't put it past some sick twisted individuals or agency to try something..

You are being a little ungrateful, considering the consequences of the attack that was planned. Those posters on ATS may just have averted one of the worlds worst terror incidents. Lets hope they can pull the same off in 2012, gonna be much harder, but I am sure they will do their darndest.

I seem to vividly recall being told we were both narrow minded and couldn't see past the views of the world or something to that effect. I see the people I offered to apologise to are nowhere to be seen....

All along I said no one's going to attack during such a high profile event. It's just too obvious when everyone's looking, and there's no shock value in something people are expecting.

Besides, everyone's moved onto this tsunami hitting Sydney and California thing now, more doom and gloom for the masses.

Roll on December 21 when all this crap takes a final dive into the toilet it deserves and we can all get blinding drunk on NYE this year...

For starters.

Apologize for argueing, and sometimes getting really nasty, when we tell them, that nothing will happen. For being overly aggressive in their delivery. For fearmongering. For spreading false information.
Hell, one guy even suggested getting yourself and your loved ones out of London.
The list goes on.

It is quite true that these doomsday threads come and inevitably pass without the doom actually happening.. you see them every single day and when you try to point out the history of how often it's come and gone with no event, many will get onto for being asleep.. not yet awake.. sheeple .. blind to their reality! .. and then the day passes and they quietly move onto the next doomsday..

Now some of these predictions are going out to 2016 .. those are the annoying ones because there's 3 years to read about them every single day..

But in the defense of those who post and latch onto those ideas.. it is indeed kind of the nature of ATS and you have to learn to accept it.. I just wish I wouldn't be accused of being "not awake" when it seems so far my track record of saying that day will pass without event has no blemishes as of yet..

That to me was one of the biggest things about this conspiracy theory .. people finding evidence in everything .. basically the result of over thinking and seeing what you want to see.. to me it made no since for the Illuminati to plan this master crime and then hide little hints everywhere.. you just don't do that, it makes no sense ..

The Doom Porn will continue. As pointed out, new dates will be added, and have already. I've seen a lot of fear mongers already starting to back peddle on some of their things that they were so darn sure about only months ago.

Nature of ATS I'm afraid.

I look at it like this: after a while you get tired of the same old conspiracies being thrown about: NWO, Chemtrails, WWIII.........so when a "DOOOOOM! DOOOOOOM I TELL YOU!" thread pops up, sometimes it makes for a good comical relief.

Then again, the same Doom being preached over and over can get rather boring too.

Except for the nastiness, which should be reported, it's all part and parcel of a conspiracy forum such as ATS. I think it's up to you and I to be discerning and discriminating of what we read and say here.

It's all good VVV. There's a lot of people here from every background imaginable, and maybe a few we wouldn't want to imagine. So I find this kind of stuff par for the course. But you've been around here long enough to know that, so I'm preaching to the choir...
