We have fishing and ship building which doubtfully leave any particulate suspension in the local air such as agriculture, coal, or other industries might where suspended particulates could carry a static electrical charge.

Today's octagonal spire, dating from 1789, still stands today although it had to be repaired in 1905 after being struck by lightening
