End of days

A poem touching on the subject....

We are not nor will we ever be
the only game in town
there are many other cultures
just waiting to be found,
pre-dating Pharoh's Egypt
by many thousand years
evidenced but no-one gets to hear.

All are hidden from our knowledge
to maintain the status quo
by those who rule Our planet
who would rather we not know,
their fear of loss of power
has kept the truth concealed,
their nightmare is our only hope
that all will be revealed.

Stretching well beyond horizons
that would test our wildest dreams,
through history's millenia
life isn't what it seems,
destroyed and resurrected
we have walked the Earth before,
the cycle has near ended
He will make us try once more.

Why is this in the Ancient Civ forum? Was it taken off of the wall of an ancient pyramid or something?

No. It is appropriate for Creative Writing, which has its own area.

People coming into this forum want content that is not poetic, unless the poem is unearthed from 1000 years ago. Here you will have an audience of crusty, stodgy people wanting serious content. Creative Writing gives you more of the open minded, free flowing type of audience you are seeking.

This will be a rough ride until a mod moves your thread.
