Beset by troubled dreams
Bound by other's schemes
Out of luck, out of time
At odds with the grand design
I fear what will become
Of a world where Love is left undone

And every time I look away
There's a void inside as deep as space
A blue fleck lost in The Milky Way
Dumbed down with distraction to ease the pain
Drowning in the carbon rain

Under this dome of ever changing sky
