The hype over this weekends showers got me wondering....they peak tomorrow in central US/CAN. I have heard central USA is the best point for viewing...SOOO do they ever get in? We have a collapsing magnetic field...would that also lower the "burnup" point(IMHO air and plasma combine for burnups, not air compression alone)

Could this magnetic "interstellar cloud" contain more iron cored meteors than usual?
