Mitt isn't releasing his tax information because they'll reveal he's a billionaire, that's with a capital B.

It would become obvious from the amount of money he's made off his investments and the possible interest he's getting on them. Max Keiser did a story on it.

The American populace has become used to electing millionaires, as scary as that is, but a Billionaire??? With Cayman Island and Swiss bank accounts, a 401K worth over 100 million, and a trust fund for the kiddies to the tune of another 100 million? Not to mention all those frugal, humble houses he owns.

Seriously, think this through. What's a billionaire want with the Presidency? This is about HIS ego, and his handler's PLANS.

Check out Gary Johnson, the Libertarian candidate. He'll be on the ballot in all 50 states, he's sane and honest (probably to a fault), and the MSM is terrified everyone will find out about him.

Who cares how much money he has????

Really! I mean, why not pick some other arbitrary thing to get worked up about?

It's his money! Maybe we should have posters disclose how much money THEY have before posting on ATS. I know it doesn't make any sense but neither does the wealth of our future leader!

It's
His
Money

Who cares how much he has!

Stop the class warfare NOW!

He ran for president in 08 and now. Common sense dictates that the IRS, Justice Department, and the Obama administration have all looked at his records.

This is an attempt at deflection and to point out the disparity and raise the class warfare issue.

It's the only weapon left in the Obama camp.

Obama can't run on his record.

He can't even give us his school records.... He has a pattern here and it is not a good one.

Obama was a wealthy community organiser and a junior senator.

Mitt has a $100,000,000 IRA (which even experts don't understand how it was possible to create), so Obama is not a j-unior sen-ator compared to Romney, he's more like a janitor.

Okay. Romney has more money.

Good for him!

I wish I had as much as he did.

Anyway you slice it though, to complain is to perpetuate class warfare.

This question has already been answered. Here is an excerpt from the WSJ:

Under federal law, Mr. Romney isn't required to pay annual taxes on the account's investment gains, and the bulk of his contributions to the fund are likely to have been pretax dollars, IRA experts say. As such, the Romney IRA has enabled the current Republican front-runner to defer paying taxes on a sizable portion of his wealth—although he could face high tax bills when he eventually withdraws the money. A Romney campaign aide said the tax treatment for his IRA "is the same for Gov. Romney as it is for every citizen of the U.S." Several estate-planning experts said they know of others with IRAs of more than $100 million, but they are rare. Typically, they said, that occurs when founders of companies invest in their own shares, which then take off.

Why??? He has shown the last two years. The guy is rich, so is Obama. How many tax returns has Obama shown? I think it was only one or two years.

Not at all. What does a tax return have to do with "class warfare"? You got it totally backward. I applaud Romney's business acumen, actually. Can't hurt to see if he stuck with the book when it came to taxes. Did he use tax havens? What's up with his Swiss account? It has nothing to do with the amount of money. If he has $1,000 in Switzerland, that's fine by me if he paid proper taxes on it, and same applies to $100,000,000.

I feel bad for people who THOUGHT Obama would save the economy. I guess people shouldn't think ANYONE should save the economy. They should take responsibility and make their own decisions/actions. Now there's a thought. I say, be proactive in your life. Move, change, do whatever you need to do to be successful/happy....insert description here....... Quit blaming and being the victim, take charge of your life, wherever you are.

Ask yourselves this: when did we decide that we should entrust our government to LAWYERS? What about lawyers makes them the least bit qualified to run a country (and recent evidence would underscore the fact that it's anything BUT true). And yes, trollage... I know Obama is also a lawyer. My point exactly. Based on my personal life experience (60+ years) the very LAST group I'd entrust with anything that involves ethics is lawyers.

Shouldn't we be electing people with advanced degrees in political science, public administration, economics and U.S. history? If you owned a major hotel/resort chain would you hire a lawyer to run it or someone with degrees in hospitality management?

And how exactly does a ruling body substantially made-up of one-percenters 'represent' ninety-nine percenters? Where is the representation part?

Why? Obama did save the economy, or to be more precise, allowed this to happen. The means were terrible but alternatives even less appetizing. I would mind if he was more socialist in that, too, because he was simply playing for big business. But hey, nobody's perfect.

An admirable concept. There is, however, one flaw. When you have The Government colluding with big-business and big-banking to commit and cover-up massive fraud; refuse to prosecute the same; stack the tax laws to favor their cronies; pass legislation to abridge our rights of redress, ignore The Constitution, and intimidate The People; manipulate interest rates and investments; launder money for drug cartels and hostile nations; devalue our currency by printing-orgies in order to wage pointless wars almost entirely designed to enrich their sponsors; and a litany of other crimes against The People it makes the concept of 'live free and prosper' somewhat hollow.

So are you saying you are a victim and have no authority in your life, or your life sucks and it's the governments fault? Because that is what I'm hearing. Not trying to be sarcastic but excuses are like a$$holes, everyone's got one.

On topic: Romney's tax records should only be made available AFTER he's elected president.....so we can see what's in them!

Oooo school records. How significant! Derp. Next he'll release his netflix records, his first cars service record, his record of meals eaten at his favorite restaurant, but not his taxes. Those are not important and have no bearing on his possible administration.

Who cares about his GPA? His grades don't impact his job as president...

So there you have it. Still waiting to know about Obama's college GPA.

Why? What difference would knowing his grades make?

That's not common sense, that's nonsense. To get access to tax records without one's content, there must be a subpoena. Good luck with that, for lack of probable cause.

John McCain's rank in his class was 894 of 899. Just saying.
