Amongst all the jingoism orchestrated by Conman the English Prime Minister it is noted that "Team GB" ( an advertising executives wet-dream costing the UK taxpayer thousands of pounds to pay for) have not won one gold medal in events from the original Olympic Games.

en.wikipedia.org...

Conman must be thankful for cycling and swimming and shooting.

What you mean like the events within the heptathlon? Which Jessica Ennis achieved gold in?

try 48 medals in total so far

here

making this the most successful Games in terms of gold medals since the London Olympics of 1908 and equalling the total number of medals won in Beijing.

The pentathlon and not the heptathlon was in the original games. The horse events were chariot races.

"Team GB" has won no gold medals as in the original games.

Their golds are in made-up events.

From the link you provided (Wikipedia)

At first, the Olympic Games lasted only one day, but eventually grew to five days. The Olympic Games originally contained one event: the stadion (or "stade") race, a short sprint measuring between 180 and 240 metres (590 and 790 ft), or the length of the stadium. The length of the race is uncertain, since tracks found at archeological sites, as well as literary evidence, provide conflicting measurements. Runners had to pass five stakes that divided the lanes: one stake at the start, another at the finish, and three stakes in between.

Damn, what has everyone been doing? We've all been competing in the wrong races, and increased the event by 20 days of sport instead of 1. I bet everyone feels silly now

In line with the current worship of money the games have turned into how much gold can we get. Sad how the bankers have changed our whole world. Sheeple sheesh.

That is not the fact that we are here to dispute, the fact that we are talking about is how Britain have not won any medels in any events......apparently
