Hmm really? the fact is taxes have been decreasing for the last 40 to the lowest point they have been. Hate to break it to you. Your job was gone tax increase or no tax increase. It was a done deal before any legislation passed, they just forgot to tell you that part. As to the rest Carter had a long term plan that would have had us off oil by now without shortchanging our future the way Regan did, that we are just now starting to pay the price for. Oh and it was Nixon that opened up China to begin with.
