Don't believe you, prove it. Your entire description of your life is a fantasy. You're obviously 12 and on school holidays, in some desert somewhere. Prove you're not. Photos and videos don't count as they're fake.

Of course, there is a lot more proof that Curiosity is on Mars than just photos, but seeing as you've already decided its all fake and any evidence is fake then what's the point...

NBC just showed some pictures sent by Curiosity that showed a silouetted figure/object on the horizon that was not there on a subsequent shot. Perhaps curiosity killed a martian kitty cat or they are not alone. Question is: was it a "Decepticon" or did someone stray into the shot in the studio??

If you had access to amature radio operators, many of which have about all the frequencies covered, and a Curiosity about 'Curiosity' and the signals sent and recieved, I believe you would have your proof of infact a Mars landing of the craft named Curiosity. And the signal exchanges.
People who espouse pseudo-science often advance their rather spurious argument. This argument conveniently disregards a basic axiom of logic: The burden of proof is always on the claimant. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof

It is logically impossible and logically contradictory to require another person to prove that something does not exist. We can only prove that something exists; nobody can prove that something does not exist.

If an object or event does not manifest itself in any form, manner or shape to human beings, it simply does not exist. If it does not manifest itself to human beings, it obviously has no effect on our life and we can safely disregard it.
I don't think that is the case here, and I dis-agree with the OP.

The first poster recieved 3X more stars then the entire OP because of two sarcastic questions.. After all the airbrushing, moon hoaxing, satellite imaging which I belive arent all "Hubble" but computer animation.. why would we belive NASA sent a rover to Mars? With a couple billion dollars; all they could build was a machine with 16 cameras that weighs as much as a car? And THAT fascinates you people? You science or.. LEFT-brain people are so full of it, so far from truth, so far from true logic.. its ridiculous. To back up your fear of being wrong, you use sarcasm and bad humour, then 50+ left brainers give you a star Ignorance is bliss!

Nasa is a scam to the public. They are doing MUCH greater projects then sending tiny machines to the closest planet.. we just dont get to know about it. These so called "scientists" did what university students could do, but worse.
Grab 30 scientists from an average university in America, give them 2-3 $BILLION, and tell them to build a machine and send it to Mars. I garuntee it will be bigger, better, and more sophisticated then this "curiosity" rover.. God damn you followers cannot be described any better then SHEEP. I don't think its a rant more like you just spoke the truth..I think tons of people either know its the truth and cant handle it so they ridicule the topic or they are delusional and asleep and only know and believe what MSM and the GOV tells them..what a shame.

Here are some counter arguments to this 'TV Fakery'.

A) The scientist were genuinely excited and emotional, they would've been great actors or actually believe they landed their rover on Mars.

B) The MRO captured Curiousity on it's decent down to the surface, for it to be fake, MRO would have to be fake too.

C) Gale crater shows signs that Curiousity indeed has landed and the topology on the pictures is correct for this location, nothing on earth looks like gale crater.

Tired of engaging in such stupid debate, I could likely well converse better with one of my cats which seem to have more common sense than the majority of conspiracy theorists.

For you guys, it's always the same: You claim to be "oh so skeptical" and being able to discern what is "the truth" and what not...you are angry and hate "the government" and usually you do not have ONE BIT of evidence for your theories...just hear-say and 3rd party "pseudo-evidence" or evidence like from sources like "Coast2Coast" etc.
ONE DAY i wish i would encounter ONE single conspiracy theory which at least halfway makes sense and can be discussed halfway seriously, but sadly this is impossible since you NEVER can back up your claims, *ever*.

How does it make sense you assume that all other people (except you, of course) are "ignorant" and idiots because they "believe everything" - while YOU are the ones believing even the most ridiculous theories coming from some selected book-authors (where there is clearly an agenda, which is $$$) or some random site. You read about your theories on some random site operated by some random person, and you NEVER ask what *their agenda* is.

You believe the words of Icke, Hoagland, Jones or even from any random caller on Coast2Coast claiming whatever things..and you also never ask for their agenda. You accept it solely based on the fact because it's "hip" in America to be "against the government" (me thinks) - and you even continue believing the words and lies of people like Hoagland etc. *even if their theories have already been proven wrong over and over and over*.

You are willing to believe that the Moon landing/Mars landing is a hoax - NOT based on your own thinking...but based on 3rd party pseudo-evidence, because you read "somewhere" that "someone" was claiming they had a job with NASA airbrushing. (Let me guess: That person called in one night at Coast2Coast???)...etc..etc.

The problem here is your ridiculous double-standard, because you are ONLY skeptical if you see information from the MSM, NASA, "the government" etc...but you are NEVER skeptical if you get "information" from "alternative" sources...as long as the other sources are in line with your conspiracy theories.

If this WERE a halfway smart discussion...we had some conspiracy theorists listing good evidence WHY there is a likelihood that the Mars landing might indeed be fake - and we could at least talk about this evidence and weigh what speaks for it or against it.

But you never do this..you ONLY argue "emotional" where the main "argument" is most of the time your dislike for the government - and this is what your theories are based on.

The rover does not just have a bunch of cameras on it, nor would anyone expect there to be high resolution images flooding in yet. I don't blame you for completely missing the point of the mission, nor for your complete lack of understanding thus far. By the time the complexities have been summarised for news outlet science correspondents and then simplified to the extreme in an effort to make it even vaguely understandable for the general public it's easy to miss the point, after all how can you know what you aren't told?
I suggest starting your path to banish ignorance by reading the Landing press kit here:

It's still fairly complicated by a regular persons standard, but simplifies/summarises it enough hopefully to help you grasp things better and anyone else still having issues.

The ESA Mars Express spacecraft also relayed signals from the rover, as were signals picked up directly from the MSL by an ESA tracking station. Precisely, unfortunately I moved country recently and no longer have my equipment or access to the faculty I used to, but in the online groups I belong to others are successfully receiving the signals from the MSL coming from... Mars.. While I understand the Ops concerns that people shouldn't believe everything the media tell them, to say that anyone who believes the rover landed is a sheep, etc is prickish behaviour to say the least. Some of us have the ability to 'verify' what we already know and may even have more direct involvement or access than most. It doesn't mean every 'believer' is a sheep or a government agent either. It just means we're not gullible sheep that believe the viewpoint of a hysterical insignificant suffering from inadequacy issues and dellusions on a forum.

Incidentally I too get annoyed with what a lot of the media say about the mission, the number of mistakes and ommissions are incredibly irritating but it's hardly the fault of the teams working on the projects nor is it evidence of fakery, just evidence of poor reporting as usual..

He is ONLY questioning the information he *prefers* to question, this is what I mean with that double-standard. They are never questioning the sources which feed their theories.

Does anyone really believe, given the state of Earth and mankind, that we will be able to colonized some other planet or even send a person to one and return? Exploring Mars is interesting but I doubt it will do much for humans.

I know one of the scientists personally that is involved with this mission and has been for the past four years of her life. The Curiosity is in fact sitting on Mars.
