It is easy to say blimp. But the video is not close enough to distinguish any blimp like features. It is just the debunk factor hear at ATS. Honestly, who knows if it is a legit UFO or not. We need more proof! Not just a picture of a blimp and say, ok, that's it, its a blimp. Not good enough for me. Bring more proof, birtches!!

I'm not a video or photo guy, but based on what is seen on the vid you posted, it seems to be either CGI or one of the those RC things. Like I said before we would need the original video to debunk this 100 percent, but in all reality, I think we may not know what this is specifically, but we also all know what it ISN'T. We can't take these kinds of videos at face value anymore because of all the hoaxers and the better technology to do it with. When I was younger, I got fooled so many times by these vids, but then I searched around skeptic sites and ATS and learned the error of my ways. Don't get me wrong, I believe there are or were, aliens. But you have to admit that it's never been easier to fake the funk in regards to ufo vids. For reference, this video. It's not a fake, it's just some people taking their RC craft for a spin. But what if they wanted to make a hoax out of it somehow? How many people would they sucker in?

I don't think Gortex meant the same video, just the same object. It could be a simple fan driven disc drone. Some police agencies have them. or it could be a blimp, who can tell?

It doesn't have to be an RC vehicle bought in a store.

People make these UFO solar balloons all the time. It's a hobby, just like any other hobby. Why they do it is the answer to why anyone is interested in anything they make into a hobby.

Rounded

"cigar" shaped

ooooo! It's a TRIANGLE! I wonder what would happen if they put LEDs on it and released it at night?

Anyway, you should get the picture.
If it moves like a balloon, regardless of how big or what it's shape is, even if it changes shape (as a bunch of garbage bags welded together should be expected to do), no matter if it's night, or day, or if it has lights on it, then, chances are, if it does indeed move at a similar air speed velocity expected of a balloon, it's probably a balloon.

Do a google search for "Solar Balloon" and you'll find tons of videos of people making these things and letting them go free out into the wild where everyone with a video camera that sees them will pee their pants and freak out over the best UFO evar!!!!!!!!!!

Haven't read any of the replies yet, but I'm guessing the explanations will range anywhere from "CGI" to "obvious CGI". There will likely also be some comments disparaging the YouTube channel on which this video was posted because it features a large number of UFO videos.

Interesting video anyway. Got your classic flying saucer oscillating in the classic way. Thanks for posting it.

A real extraterrestrial craft cannot be that bland and boring.

Some of the youtube comments had me almost on the floor laughing..

From year 0 to 1970 it was people immagitation or weather ballom. From 1970 to 1999, more people got cameras and it was a malfuntion of the lens of simple airplane and some swamp gas. From 2000 to 2012 is USA drones with some swamp gas and little bit of blimp, so is always something but never the one who creat us...I guess we are the dumbest races of the universe.

I think he at least got the last part right..

The camera zooms in real close for a second or two and then it really does look like it has a lower structure sort of like a blimp, but it definitely doesn't look like the old standard looking blimp..

This object seems to bend it's shape a bit, but that could be the camera lens.. also at the very last, it does seem to be dropping much faster than what a normal blimp would do, even if it was landing, it would descend much slower.. I have watched many blimps land before..

It also inclines itself on it's longitudinal axis each way, enough to not appear like what a blimp would do..

Hard to call it, but judging by it's lack of any crazy movement, is probably something man made.. never can tell though..

really bad statement. Your blatant attempt to debunk a video that may or may not be a saucer is laughable

probably a fake camera to huh lmao.
on subject thank you op for throwing this up I really hope this turns out to be legit!

You, as the thread starter, have you come across any reported sightings at the date of this particular sighting, that describe and corroborate what we are seeing? Are there any reports that would substantiate or validify that this is nothing more than a hoax video posted on youtube?

I would like to ask you why you think this is the "Best UFO vid I have seen."? I hope you could provide some insight as to why you think this is the best, and how you came to that assertion. Because I've seen similar videos on youtube before, that were simply false, unsubstantiated and fallacious.

I just came across this while looking for a story I know I'd seen about 'Battle Blimps' over our bases in Afghanistan for static surveillance. They are getting weirder than I thought.

Military testing "HeliKite"

Given how much military, federal law enforcement and local cops are within a few miles of where this was taken though, I can't believe anything truly unknown wouldn't have been joined in moments by helicopters from both Mexico and the U.S. to capture or destroy it. That would be as public as the White House lawn for the meaning of that piece of ground beneath it.

Very little frame of reference. There would be no earthly reason to make jump cuts when zoomed in with the 'UFO' in frame. One strange example is a 0:53 the camera or editing pan/crop moves in, jump cut to another piece of footage, the sky colouration doesn't match either . Video ends as soon as the 'UFO' is out of sight making it difficult to ascertain if this has indeed been videoed live and not a photo or still video tampered with. Fake.

Jump cuts 0:16, 0:37, 0:53, 1:30, 1:54 (no audio cut), 2:01, 2:19 (no audio cut).

4:09 Change in background traffic ambience until 4:16, no cut in video.

Lets be honest here. You would not know if this was cgi or
not, so why say it? If it is cgi, and i doubt it, then its very good
cgi. I think the object is actually there, but in my opinion, its a
ballon. The object does nothing to make me belive that its anything
special.

I'm sorry I have to call HOAX as well because at 38 secs you see missing frames which ok maybe he turned it off then back on.. however at 50-52 as it zooms in on the ufo you can see a split in the frames the ufo changes shape and color

Do I get any agreement?

edit: Ok didn't see the post two ahead of me... yea I agree with you...

I loved the music. Far better than the electronic crap that is usually stuffed onto a UFO vid.

I accept it as probably genuine. It really makes no difference and is of no great important. Real or fake, it displayed some of the typical characteristics of a UFO. It you analyze that aspect, you maybe can understand how the UFO sightings have been program into us as a myth by which we "know" them today without really knowing them in a scientific sense. --Familiar yet remaining mysterious after over half a century. All according to plan, docha see?

We need more proof that this is anythign but CGI or a government craft being used in Mexico to fight the drug war.

Road goes both ways.

I am also of the opinion that this is not a significant event. Balloon or drone, but not much else in my humble opinion.

Recently there was a video posted that made me take notice due to the object's movement. Mexico UFO. This object is rather stable and stationary. Plus, I get really suspicious when a video has background music included. :-)

It's interesting.
People will too quickly watch and say blimp.
But if you watch long enough, it doesn't say blimp to me.
And CGI? come on.
Just because it's possible doesn't mean it's always CGI.

It's a real video IMO.
As a matter of fact,
I'll IMO a lot for the next paragraph .

As many know, you have to assess the whole video .
The context, the incredulity etc.
And from flying RC planes and videoing flight characteristics,
I say it's no model. And, it's steadiness is seems
full size, for whatever that means.
So for me it comes down to known blimp or UFO.

I say UFO.
UFO-Meaning unknown blimp, alien craft, or unknown terrestrial craft.

I call BS.

At 54 sec , he zooms in on it and then it changes to another shot of video.

I am not buying it.

No real surprise here.

This is what ATS is all about.

They think of a conclusion, and say that the conclusion is 100% Legit. No proof, just a couple of pics, similar vids, an idea, and boom! Instant Debunk! I don't even know why I bother with some members in this board.

This may, or may not be a blimp, a UFO or something military.

If you really want to know, then research it, gather findings, state your theory, and come to your conclusion. But remember that not all theories are 100% right!! Your conclusion may or may not be right.

And as for the "if it looks like a blimp, and flies like a blimp, it means it is a blimp" statement is the worse I ever heard. So if this very same object to me "looks like a flying saucer, floats like a flying saucer, means it indeed is a 100% flying saucer from another world would be correct too, right? Yeah... whatever!!!
