The Tea Party has more power and influence in 2012.
That's not exactly true. TP support has been falling ever since the mid-term elections. In fact, there was a poll that ABC did with the Washington post that said the more people learn about the TP...the less they like it.
Give me a few and I'll find it.
ETA: Found it. It's in PDF and even has a nice little graph for the symbol-minded. I don't really like to use polls as evidence, but hey...if the shoe fits...edit on 4-8-2012 by sheepslayer247 because: (no reason given)

So are you admitting that the TP is has and will resort to unsavory tactics to win an election?

Ok, and let's be realistic here. What if the American people reject Romney and other GOP candidates?
What will you do then? Every time you create a thread or make a comment, it is based on your belief that the election is decided already.
What happens if they lose?

I've been a political independent all my life. I am a fiscally conservative and socially liberal. I voted for Reagan twice, Bush 41 once and even Bush 43 once. I am a veteran. But I will not now or ever cast a ballet for a Republican candidate at any level until they throw off the party's control by the so called "Christian" evangelical theocrat (and war-mongering to boot) zealots.
I will vote for a moderate American Muslim ANYTIME over any American who calls himself or herself a Christian evangelical. One group poses no threat to me or my country. The other poses a grave and present danger to actual freedom to everyone other than themselves.edit on 2-8-2012 by pajoly because: spelling

I hear you, but can you imagine the devastation of Obama with throttle wide open for another four years. I personally don't think religion plays much into all this, and so even if Romney is not my first choice he will be shackled with it being his first term, and will get rid of Obamacare (a sole reason for me to vote for him no matter how bad he is) the second reason is he can't be worst than Obama...no one can...

Where ever Gov. Sarah Palin goes the candidate wins.
Look at the election results for Ted Cruz.
The other possibility is that Dewhurst lost due to being backed by Perry. Rick Goodhair Perry is not that popular of a governor even among Republicans after his horrible run for the presidency.
Read the Fox News Article.
The Tea Party has more power and money behind it now.
Gov. Scott Walker won his recall election. Remember?

Well I am trying to engage in a political discussion here, but this is no longer about politics. It is becoming clear that this is not about your political ideology, but about your devout religious attachment to the TP and the Right.
Common sense and reality is not part of your lexicon at this point, so I think it's safe to say that you believe what you say religiously.....and there is no room for dissenting opinion.

I was hoping that Obama would not get elected in 08 because it was clear and evident that it really did not matter who was elected because our economic condition was so bad no president could have pulled us off the cliff face.
I would have rather seen a republican elected so it could be a death knell for the republican party and their failed ideology.
Frankly, I knew we were screwed when Obama kept the same type of economic advisors that led us down the path to nowhere with an unending supply of funny money while the American people got more trickle down chump change economics.
Our economy can not recover. It does not have the economic ability to do so in the consumer-based economy we have.

The Tea Party firepower is undeniable.
The 1st demonstration of our power was the -shellacking- the libs took in
November 2010.
Hello Speaker John Boehner.
The 2nd demonstration of our power was the landslide victory for Gov. Scott Walker
in his recall election.
The 3rd demonstration of our power will be observed November 6, 2012.
Hello Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
Welcome to the White House President Mitt Romney !

Our economy can and will recover.
USA small businesses will provide the jobs.
The unending regulations will be removed.
Turn that frown upside down. Our future is very bright.
