I am sick and tired of people claiming that Obama and Romney are the same. The people who say this clearly do not remember all of Obama's policies and actions. I know its tough to remember the past four years when the media doesn't report half of it So I'll make a list of the facts.

Obama's Legacy:

Economy:
Term marked by high unemployment
Unemployment rate jumped to 8.3 percent from 7.8 percent in February 2009 Now back to 8.2%
$800 Billion Bailout Plan that did nothing
1.5% GDP Due to low consumer confidence level

Immigration:
Issued an Executive Order that gives amnesty to 800,000 Illegal Aliens.
Failed to do anything else that he promised on Immigration
Deported 400,000 illegal immigrants

Education:
Won approval for a college tax credit worth up to $10,000 over four years
Left up to the unions to evaluate teachers...

HealthCare:
ObamaCare was passed and upheld Constitutionally. Set to be the largest tax increase on the middle class by 2014.

Military:
Obama Opposes war with Iran.
Opposes any action on Syria
Drone strike on Libya
Funded Muslim Brotherhood rise to power in Egypt
Agreed to talk about Israel and Palestine relations. Calls for peace.

Debt:
$5 Trillion in new Obama debt
Obama's tax the rich plan will only produce $700,000 over ten years!
30% tax on Millionaires may generate $47 Billion in only ten years.
$487 Billion in defense cuts.

Abortion:
Obama supports Abortion Rights
Obama requires all institutions regardless of religious affiliation to provide contraceptives and to pay for them even if its against their moral beliefs!

Energy:
Created a plan to tax C02 in 2010.
More regulations on gasoline vehicles made prices skyrocket on new cars
Spent Billions of dollars on failed Green Energy Start ups (mostly Solar)
Even Democrats did not agree to his tax C02 idea or emissions limits.
Rejected the Keystone Oil Pipeline
Has failed to convince Congress to end oil subsides

Gay Rights:
Obama flip flopped on the issue of Gay marriage saying that his position "evolved."

Gun Control:
After the Colorado Shooting he wrote a bill to let only licensed dealers sell ammunition, require police to be notified after any sale of more than 1,000 rounds to an unlicensed person, and require buyers who aren't licensed dealers to show a photo ID
Fast tracked a government mission to supply guns to mexico in order to track where they were being used and by whom. Ended up with the death of US border patrol agent Brian Terry. The Fast and Furious investigations are ongoing as Eric Holder investigates himself...
Supports a worldwide ban of guns after sponsoring the UN Arms Trade Treaty

Social Security:
Has not done anything substantial in this area.

Taxes:
Despite his opposition to extending the Bush Tax cuts to everyone (it's only fair right?) he has allowed this to happen in his 3.5 years in office
He want the top two tax brackets to be taxed at 39.6% and 36% respectively.

Terrorism:
Approved the raid that killed Osama Bin Laden. Leaked classified information for a hollywood movie in his honor
Wanted to close Guantanamo Bay but flip flopped again. Ended the water boarding techniques of the Bush administration and gave the terrorists a soccer field instead!

War:
Followed Bush's timeline and ended the war in Iraq which he hated
Approved airstrike on Libya
Increased US Troops in Afghanistan
Decreased Army and Marine Corps Budgets.
Leaked Classified information to the Press Corps and possibly to Iran

Are we really better off than we were four years ago? $5 Trillion in debt ago? Do we really want to elect this man again? These are the facts! No fluff, no right wing bias, no lies! It is one of the most dangerous administrations of our lifetime and NOBAMA 2012!!!!

No, really.

When Obama is defeated, he will claim racism and run out the backdoor of the

White House.

-- November 6, 2012 --

I can already see Obama reading his concession speech at around 7:30 PM.

I wonder what he will do during his lame duck last few months?

You neglected to mention the NDAA--or, more specifically, the clause that allows the detention of American citizens indefinitely ("for the duration") and without the benefit of Habeas Corpus or legal representation. I guess that would go under the "Terrorism" heading--or maybe a new heading, hereafter known as "Government-Flavored Terrorism."

And I guess you'd also have to include the new Presidential power of assassinating American citizens under that same heading.

When you think about it, those are a couple of pretty awesome accomplishments. Let's bring him back for a 4-year encore!

It would be insane to want to continue to have this alien in office. I will take anyone else. If the next one sucks, give me another. I dont want to reward mediocraty or #ty leadership. I want a second term for a deserving candidate. Bush didnt deserve it either, not many do. Clinton was lucky enough to get another during a booming economical surge that made him look like a god. Right now, obama lookslike garbage, lets take out the trash.

You created a thread to suggests Obama and Romney are different and instead just post Obama's record? don't see the discussion here.

They are both elitist and say whatever they think the crowd in front of them wants to hear at the moment. I can't believe someone created a thread in defense of Romney when the clear intention was to bash the opponents policies and not have a real discussion about both candidates. If you did any research at all you would see Bush is to Obama as Obama is to Romney, they are all going to continue the same polices of the old administration and continue sending us into debt, every president since carter has raised the debt. Why don't people look at the candidates with actual ideas instead of defending a guy whos going to stand for everything your against once you give him your votes. Seriously.

This election in November 2012 will be a referendum on Obama and his failed

economic policies.

Attacking American Exceptionalism was incredibly stupid.

And Romney is going to be any different, He hasn't said a word about the Federal Reserve or anything that REALLY effects us, all the other issues are non issues at the moment, especially when the future of the country is at stake, Social polices aren't going to save us from doom, they change all the time but what never changes is the financial schemes being pulled on us by the Fed, and the banks and the financial companys, things that actually effect you. People have let themselves be distracted from the big issues.

Yes, and the GDP will be skyrocketing higher.

The National Debt will be falling.

We will be moving away from the - Fiscal Cliff -.

Not exactly a nightmare scenario.

You are clueless. Tell me when was the last time a president reduced the national debt? Graph Chart

There I even made it easy for you, And tell me how Romney is going to reduce the debt without reducting the defense budget or touching social security or auditing the Fed, those three issues alone puts us in the red, even if you cut out wellfare and social programs you still wouldn't have enough for your man Romneys policies, so how exactly is the debt going to be lowered? If the fed has free reign to spend without oversight which is what Romney wants then how is he going to reign in spending?

Then again your probably going to ignore everything I just said, I expect a response relating to Romney's going to win end of discussion. When you can answer how he will lower the debt then you will gain some credibility.

Those are some very interesting facts. If someone didn't know Obama is a Democrat, you would think he was a conservative Republican.

$800 Billion Bailout Plan that did nothing

Wasn't it Bush (a republican) that got the bailout ball a-rollin'?

Issued an Executive Order that gives amnesty to 800,000 Illegal Aliens. Failed to do anything else that he promised on Immigration

Funny.....Ronald Reagan did the same thing.

Followed Bush's timeline and ended the war in Iraq which he hated Approved airstrike on Libya Increased US Troops in Afghanistan

Need I comment further?

Obama flip flopped on the issue of Gay marriage saying that his position "evolved."

Yes he did. Considering that he is running against a man considered to be the biggest flip-flopper in American history, wouldn't that be a good thing?

Fast tracked a government mission to supply guns to mexico in order to track where they were being used and by whom.

Can anyone say Iran Contra? Damn that Reagan

Has not done anything substantial in this area.

Show me one politician that has....

Despite his opposition to extending the Bush Tax cuts to everyone (it's only fair right?) he has allowed this to happen in his 3.5 years in office

This speaks for itself.

If you are attempting to prove that Obama and Romney have clear contrasts that make them different you are dead wrong. If anything, you have made the case that Obama was a "Republican-style" president except for a few social issues that do not mean a whole lot.

Please tell me what Romney would do differently. I would love to see his plans....but he doesn't have any. How could I vote for someone that does not tell you what he plans to do in office? Do I vote for him because he has a "R" next to his name or do I vote for someone that tells you what he wants to do?

I will not vote for Romney or Obama. It's as simple as that. They are just different sides to the same coin. Trying to make the case otherwise just shows a severe lack of understanding of how the American political system is being ran.

Liz Cheney states otherwise.

She recognizes the contribution Gov. Sarah Palin has made to the GOP.

Never.

Mitt Romney will be the first.

Bill Clinton had surpluses for 4 years but didn't pay down the debt.

Everyone just concentrated on growing the GDP.

I'm sorry. I was incorrect in that it was not Karl Rove that said Palin was a mistake.....it was DICK CHENEY!

Said Cheney: "I like Governor Palin. I've met her. I know her. ... Attractive candidate. But based on her background -- she'd only been governor for, what, two years -- I don't think she passed that test ... of being ready to take over. And I think that was a mistake.

Who cares what Liz Cheney thinks? She is a nobody in American politics. Even though I disagree with Dick Cheney, he knows what's up.
