Seem's some people have not been paying attention to the nobel peace prize winning neocon who is Bush's third term from the mass murder in libya,Somalia,Yemen.,Pakistan,to assasination's of American citizens overseas. Then we have the act of war agianst Iran via operation oiympic games virus, and aid to the Syrian rebels/Al queda.

Last time i checked between Obama and Romney they only person who hasn't murdered anyone is Romney.

Actually you're point of O being Bush's third term was my first thought as well when I read the topic, for the same reasons.

Just trying to understand the hate.

There is no hate. You just seem to believe that everyone who doesn't vote for your man is the enemy and must hate him. I'm not voting for him, other than that I have not emotional baggage to speak of about the guy. Go troll someone else.

I get accused (by you leftists) all the time that I hate Obama.
I just disagree with his policies.

Just asking the same consideration. But feel free to ignore me.

No linking an article written by someone else is not "trying to redefine" what neo conservatism is. It has been well established on these boards that neocons come from the left.

I SAID WAIT DAMMIT

If you believe in the NWO then what difference does it make who is in the White House? Doesn't the NWO elite control both parties?

If you don't believe in the NWO then please tell me why not.

Face it.
We are pretty much screwed no matter who wins.
Obama will expand government till they are involved in all aspects of your life. There will be war with Iran.
Romney will let the corporations take over. There will be war with Iran.

I repeat, feel free to "ignore".

I'll just try to find an answer from someone else.

"On these boards". Yeah, these right wing boards. You get to redefine everything that doesn't serve your purposes.

I'm going to step out before I end up taking the troll bait. I'm not getting banned over you.

Subject for another thread, but no.

I don't believe in the NWO.
(welcome to ATS, by the way)

Right wing boards!!!

Guess some people are reading different ones ATS has always been a two way street for discussion but alas some people do not want discussion.

They would rather go around "calling other people trolls" because they do not agree with them or call them necons.

Well let's see;

A neocon response to Libya would have been a full-scale invasion, thousands of our troops dead, a 10-yr occupation of their country, the installation of several billion-dollar bases, and another trillion in operating costs for the whole shebang.

A neocon response to Egypt would have been a full-scale invasion, thousands of our troops dead, a 10-yr occupation of their country, the installation of several billion-dollar bases, and another trillion in operating costs for the whole shebang.

A neocon response to Syria would be a full-scale invasion, thousands of our troops dead, a 10-yr occupation of their country, the installation of several billion-dollar bases, and another trillion in operating costs for the whole shebang.

So yeah, a neocon in office would be worse than the guy we have now. Unless you own stock in a military-industrial-complex related company. Fault him all you like, but he did not let the United States get sucked into any of the Arab Spring revolutions, other than supporting the two UN missions.

I find this totally irrational. (I looked up a synonym for insane just to be nice.)
You would vote for Ron Paul who believes in limited government.
Romney is Republican whose platform is for a more limited government.
Yet, you would vote for a socialist who wants more government rather than someone who wants less government.
Yes, I think irrational doesn't quite fit.

democrats voted for those two wars.
it has been recently revealed that saddams wmd's were moved to syria.
and democrats created the fha and fannie and freddie and government backed loans, which caused the financial collapse.

but it's all the republicans fault right?

Yea, a lot of Democrats did vote for the war... based on a BS NIE that Cheney & his posse of warmongers manipulated and made sure was full of lies to justify their fraudulent war. Heck, most of the info in there came from a bozo named Curveball, a drunkard, pathological liar whom they American intelligence community never had any direct contact with. Also, plenty of bogus info. that was provided by Chalabi, who wanted Saddam out because he thought he would take over the country, was used in the NIE and at the UN. Their wasn't a nuclear program. No WMD's were moved to Syria, because there weren't any to move. Iraq had no ties to Al-Qaeda or Bin Laden, he wanted nothing to do with them. There was no Yellow cake Uranium. Could keep going. All lies, lies, lies... Yes, the war in Iraq IS all the Republicans fault. The financial mess was caused by years of weakening regulations and by keeping new regulations from ever becoming law, despite all the warning signs. There were no safeguards at all to reign in institutions that had become too big to fail. Overly risky betting by financial institutions; credit default swaps, subprime mortgage backed securities, AAA ratings BS, etc. The economic collapse, though blame is shared by both parties, is overwhelmingly the fault of the Republicans. They will do anything to protect reckless corporations & greedy, corrupt banking institutions from playing by basic rules. It's their forte.

What is with the title of this thread? What is it insinuating? That Bush and Romney are literally the same person? That they are virtually the same person?

In the case of the former, that is absurd, even by ATS' already pathetically low standards.

In the case of the latter, what else is new? Necons are all the same. Everybody knows that. Hell, neocons, conservatives, and so called "liberals" are all puppets for the same "shadow government", whose ultimate goal is the erosion and elimination of all personal civil liberties.

Whoa, it's getting heated in here. I like the fire in you guys (lefties & righties). I think if we focused our goals on the same thing, we would be unstoppable.

On topic.... I don't think it matters who is in who's cabinet. It's the same dragon with different wings. Revolution is the only way we can save us from ourselves.
