When fishing with GRENADES goes terribly wrong

looks to me like a flash bang......concussive force plus smoke to dis-orient your enemy. plus no shrapnel and a 1.5 second fuse. most anti personnel grenades are 3 second fuses. i mean whats the point if you cant be far enough away at the time of detonation. there is a 15 meter Mame zone with these devices. a bet those guys need a change of shorts now......lol

No flashbang there. That was the real deal. They just got lucky because the thing blew up right as it went into the water. Well sorta lucky. The water absorbed most of the shock and kept the boat from sinking. May have been no shrapnel. A lot of explosive grenades are not intended to frag. Now if that thing had gone off a split second before the water then you would have had a shaped charge with the shock wave bouncing off the water and going right into the russians faces.

Also I think the guy was just dumb enough to let the spoon fly before he even dropped it effectively cooking off the grenade a few seconds before releasing.

Either way these two are definitely Darwin Award nominees.

Which i feel is ok if you then throw it as far away as possible
