Youtube once shutdown all of the sound to all videos i was perusing. I get junk mail in my gmail constantly. Sometimes its the content of what you are viewing that TPTB find questionable. It's also possible that someone has hacked your e-mail and other online content. Change your gmail password as I did. and wait and see if it continues. And as another poster stated, your wifi connection may have been corrupted.

I got banned from glp

Yeah I usually am too. Then again that's easy enough to change. The only real reason to go there is to troll though. I visit maybe once a month.

You didnt get singled out and blocked they blocked an entire range of IP or your whole ISP, when you connect to the net you get assigned an IP by your provider but they have limited amounts of those... Just like phone numbers... When you disconnect the IP you had gets recycled and given to somebody else when they connect, if you were an ass while you had the IP and got blocked from a site the guy that get the IP after you will be blocked from the site because its not who has the IP thats blocked but the IP itself if you will...

In cettain case to get rid of really annoying individuals they may block an entire internet provider.

Google "web proxies" you'll be able to get through with those

This is a mean spirited practice. Someone out there with some balls needs to start a rival site - open to all and free to all. With exactly the same content and flair. Then we'll see how many IP's get banned from GLP.

More than likely it is your router and ISP causing your problems. Get yourself a router that you can program with DD-WRT or one that already has that installed. Make a password that has upper case and lower case characters and make your wireless connections secure. Delete all cookies and history and doing so will keep the bad boys at bay as you already have a good start by using Linux for a OS. Then you can enjoy the entire web without problems.
