Now if that is your stance, then you will not mind if a law abiding, gun toting American witnesses you being violently attacked for no reason, that American should probably just keep on walking. Do what switzerland did and make guns mandatory. Everyone who is capable -should- have a firearm in their home. It would definitely lower crime,

Would you break into a house knowing that every house has a weapon that can -kill- you if you try to rob them?

And you should pay a tax for expressing your freedom of speech. Heck, while we're at it, why don't we tax you for thinking as well. All of these make just as much sense as your proposal...

Peruse this site and tell me guns are not used to stop criminals. Many many stories of such a thing, it happens all the time, just as much as innocents being killed, but people only want the negatives.

Well, why stop there?

Why not just enable government to take everybody's money, every single red cent and give it to people that they and only they approve?

There's too much sin taxes as it it. There's too much taxes and regulations period. Government never met a tax it doesn't like.

And nothing is free in America. Some benefit may be free to some people, but it always comes from TAXES.

All this money just doesn't magically appear, you know.

And look at what government spending money it doesn't have is doing to America now.

15 Trillion dollars in debt.

And the government keeps spending and spending and spending with no end in sight.

Hide and watch what we will do. Tension is building and once the last straw is broken then we will rise against the tyranny. We are tolerant, but our patience is running out. Getting rid of guns will never work, and certainly trying to take them away will not work out very well at all. We do not want to use our firearms, until it is absolutely necessary, we are not there yet but the time is approaching. I cannot wait until the UN building gets torn down brick by brick.
