The source article pretty much debunks itself, or at least severely questions the legitimacy of the original claim.

Lets see if we can clarifily this for you. What he stated was it would take quite a large number of sysmographs to map out a structure burried benith the surface, spaced at least every hundred yards or so in the vacinity of the object, which if you aren't looking for anthing would be highly unlikely. No did he state that sombody wasn't looking.
Geologists and geophysisits had prior knowledge of the blast and could have had prior knowledge that something might have been there.
However we'll probably never know one way or the other

NOTE: As I was unable to find any better quality or resolution pictures I am only comparing low quality with low quality and I understand that may not convince many ... and I myself am not convinced of a match but I feel that what data I have found is worthy of presentation for further analysis.

I, for one, see a very clear face in your presented data. When taken in conjunction with this talk of Alaskan alien pyramids...there is certainly room to conceive of a relationship between cydonia and this area of Alaska.

Here is you HD photo of the Cydonia face, not much of a face at all. So, I don't see why it is being compared to anything here. Shadows can play a lot of tricks on mountains.

Less erosion would take place against monuments in Alaska, than on Mars, resulting in the retention of more definition on this one on Earth.

Absolutely. Not just covered up, but eroded, as well.

Don't know anything about this website. Just found it doing a little more digging around from all the info given so far.
Maybe some one with more knowledge on these charts & graphs can let us know if these show data signs of a pyramid.

Personal Disclosure: As I was checking it out I noticed that the lake/pool is some 3-4m higher than the closeby surrounding area and I will attempt to show that asap! Unfortunately due to the low resolution it is not picked up as an elevation in ground mode and therefor that task will take more than a simple screengrab to accomplish ... but the task is not insurmountable and I kindly ask for 24hrs to provide such data.

It was just a curious feature...I'm much more intrigued by the face anomaly.
