It's a good thing we have a western legal system, the presumption of innocence and the right to fair trial by a jury of our peers.

I'm not convinced either way; that's what the prosecutors case is for.

One of my favorite television programs is "Person of Interest" which, judging by the subject matter on this website I'm sure a few of you are familiar with...

Anyways, they had an episode that showed how easy it is to create a patsy. They had a down on his luck guy, out of work with a family, and called him asking if he would work a job at a political dinner party. All he had to do was show up, shoot some confett/streamers and leave.

What ended up happening was the politician was assassinated by a man standing near the patsy,(the man who was desperate for a job), and the shooter fled, clearly already having a planned escape route. Of course everyone thought it was the family man, especially because someone had been using his IP address to go on websites and blog about how much he hated the politician for causing him his job due to budget cuts. They had planted a small laptop in his house of course which the police found and made the man look every part the shooter....

Anyways, it was realistic and believable and despite being just a show, was a scary example of how easy it is with todays technology to frame basically anyone.

If they're strange, be it their hair color, personality etc... the easier and more believable it is. Of course people in general turn into a lynch mob when innocents are harmed and demand blood for blood. Often overlooking the flaws and questionable evidence.

Meanwhile, Sirhan Sirhan has for the past several decades maintained he was not the one who killed Robert Kennedy, and to this day does not remember anything from that night.

Did anyone ever mention that the shooting was in theater 9? Just heard that on the news.

The chief of police was being interviewed about a second shooter and he was blinking his eyes 100 mph which was not the case with earlier interviews.

The correct Personality disorder name is Disassociative Identity Disorder, and I believe that this is more a case of Creative compartmentalization, in the sense that the personalities all have their roles, which begs another question... what personality would do what he did, and then inform the police of the "rigged apt?". This is also in the case of him actually doing this. It wouldn't make sense for him to recall what was done, in the complex, both the theater and his apt, and then to "disassociate" while in the courtroom. Now lets look at the "Monarch" styled program that would have to be in place. Many drugs are used to render a person suggestible, and the turnaround for conditioning is quite fast, depending on what needs to be done (sensory dep chambers, hypnogogic suggestions, etc etc).

I personally think that this guy is just jerking the system, I mean he was sexually frustrated, and didnt do well in school (dropped out). Unfortunately, people remember the Hitlers, and the Napoleons, and not the "good guys".

It smells of an ego complex more than anything (body armor, and not fighting the police, also the telling of authorities of his apt bomb). I think some regressive hypnotherapy, mixed with some sodium thiopental would do this lad some good!

It is a rather odd thing to say especially because he opens his interview with it, almost as if he knows exactly what a person or the person of interest is, which of course he should know.

Possibly because of the misuse of suspect to mean perpetrator, police have begun to use person of interest, possible suspect, and even possible person of interest, to mean suspect.

Why wouldn't they test his hands and cloths for gun powder residue. i think that would help understand if he was shooter or not.

Most humans nowadays don't have even half control of their mind. They are just above running off of sheer instinct. It is so easy to slip '___' into your drink (humans "drink" so much!), then plant subliminals into your mind that you can wake up the next morning not knowing what is real. Condolences to the victims families, but these are crazy times. & when you go to an event looking for action, violence, & sadness: you might get all that and then some more.

What I don't understand is if he doesn't want to be in jail and is now 'faking' amnesia in order to get off easy, why did he just sit in his car behind the theatre and wait for the cops to get him?

If he was planning on claiming amnesia, why didn't he just run in the first place? This case has the stink of conspiracy all over it. Too bad the average american just takes what the media says as fact.

But, the official story is just the "accusation". Man is innocent until proven guilty. The jury will decide whether that accusation is probably the truth, beyond reasonable doubt, but even then, we'll never know if its the absolute truth.

Didn't the marine who went on the rampage killing all those middle easterners claim that he had the same thing happen to him. Supposedly after this drug was administered to him he turned into a rampage killing machine and then didn't remember anything other than blacking out. Kind of like what the ruffies did to the boys in the mivie the hang over. It turned them into party animals without any memory of it. This could have been trun into a party animal minus the party part.

Goes much deeper than that.............the real original James Holmes wasn't there and didn't do the shootings...........your looking at mind control and possible demonic possession along with DID.

Someone, somewhere at sometime got a hold of him but good.

This is what happens when you open yourself up without putting on the armor of God.

I have a quick question. How would he have proceeded out of his apartment the very last time he left if it was booby trapped? I recall it not being on the first floor, although I could be remembering wrong. Also I recall reading that the door was set up to kill anybody who opened it.

I have a sneaking suspicion in my gut telling me that this case is about to "explode" and that whatever is going on here, is enormous. I have no idea what Holmes was/is involved in but I feel that the tentacles of this deal run deep and wide, which might explain why many are having this "6th" sense feeling that something doesn't seem right. Who knows how this going to play out. Perhaps he's found dead in his cell etc etc..Or perhaps even worse..another HUGE world event occurs and the public's attention is diverted from this case entirely. It almost seems as if whoever set this whole thing up is realizing how badly they screwed up. My guess is Holmes was never originally supposed to survive this and be captured.

Next thing you know he's transferred to a mental hospital and released in 6 months

Everybody knows the Joker has GREEN hair. I don't buy that he was pretending to be the Joker. Some cop was probably misquoted and now everyone is running with it.

It's like the guy who took so much acid he thought he was a banana and tried to peel himself, it doesn't happen that way. I'm sure if he did say he was the joker he was taking the piss out of the cops.

Its nearly impossible to postively identify him as the shooter when he was wear head to toe body armor. If theres over whelming evidence he is the shooter then a postive id is not needed. He was at the scene of a shooting wearing all that body armor. People dont wear that to go watch a movie, its extremly uncomfortable and you sweat like a pig the only reason one would be wearing body armor is when they are expecting to be shot at. Im sure they found GSR all over him after the amount of rounds he fired.
