I like how the article proposes all his gear was worth $20k. Even if it were, so what? You can easily obtain multiple credit cards and I doubt he
was worried about the high interest rates. His family had money, he had a grant, he had student loans and frankly $10k is not a ton of money ( a more
plausible amount).
What expertise? It doesn't take much skill to rig up an apartment. We don't even know what the explosives were but most anything can be made from
supplies you can get at Home Depot. The internet is a scary place sometimes. This information is not hard to find.
Why would it be hard to stay under 'TPTB' radar? I purchased 5 guns in seven days, two of which were 'assault rifles' when I got a little worried
about a gun grab. I had no issue doing it. It may have popped a flag up somewhere but nobody came knocking. It's not odd for some people to extra
cash and go on a gun buying spree. I've done it, I'm sure many others have too. You can easily buy body armor online.
As far as I'm concerned this whole thing is rather cut and dry. Should something come to light that I question, I certainly will be willing to change
that opinion. I think it's a good idea to stay on top of the news, but there is a lot of rather sill speculation going around.
