If you are truly in the mental health field - - how do you know what he wants?

I doubt he knows what he wants.

I don't...my suspicion is based on WHAT THEY the judge, police, media are doing or not doing and how they are treating the situation...THEY may be trying to minimize illusions of grandeur THEY may think he has...my analysis was more about how they are treating him and why as opposed to what he truly believes...

after re-reading my post it did come off as I though I personally thought he was wanting attention etc...because of the wording, but I don't know what hes thinking but I know what is common in anti-social patients.... delusions of grandeur...

Just look at this guys eyes, look at his pupils, watch the video.

His pupils are pretty dilated, atleast from what I see in the photo. Add that in to his "head bobbing" around, plus his moments when he gets "wide-eyed", I would say this guy is definantly on some kind of drug. My guess at the moment would be something like Xanax (benzodiazepine).

Drowsiness, clumsiness or lack of coordination, lack of concentration....that's what I see at the moment. Also, if this guy is hopped up on Xanax (or something similar) in the video, he problably will not even remember anything at all from this court apperance.

Oh OK

I don't think there is any argument he is delusional.

I've had some issues with Bi-Polar - - - and I can tell you its damn scary. When you have an episode - - you are in your own world and nothing else is real.

I handle mine with diet. I highly recommend the Atkin diet (or modified version) for anyone having an imbalance.

If he has dosed up on a seditive by the police to keep him calm, is that then legal to put him in a court apperance while he is hoped-up?

Very little has come out at all about his motives for the shooting, isn't that strange? News outlets are usually all over the motive... but we haven't been told any good "reason" for his actions yet. That doesn't make sense to me.

Maybe he expected his apartment to blow up, and since it didn't, maybe some documents were found in there that weren't supposed to be found. The media silence is making me wonder...

All the more reason why he's a scape goat...look at him...he's doped out of his gord, the man can barely keep his eyes open and what he was doing in that court room was not a forced response, he was legitamatly doped.

And WTF is up with his hair? The joker had green hair...his is sherbert? Really? He couldnt even get that right....

Sorry but i dont think thats true. I know people who take Xanax everyday and their memories are not affected.

My mom is a psychiatric RN with concentrated studies in pharmacology/psychoactive drugs. She has worked with mental health patients for almost 30 years and after watching his video and looking at his photos she says that he is definitely on a benzodiazepine agent, possibly xanax or valium. She does not believe he is acting, as she mentions that despite being drugged, you can see his heart racing a little as you look toward his chest and throat area. The prison system has a psychiatrist and physician on board, and ready to evaluate and medicate each prisoner, however, they cannot dispense those medications unless you agree to it, or, you are considered a huge safety risk and are evaluated as a dangerous psychotic.

I do not think the man is acting here. He is truly drugged, however, that does not mean he has not been tagged and part of an MK ultra or sleeper agent. The school that he was attending is known for MK ultra experiments. That says a lot to me.

In the drug reference book that my mom has, (she is a psychiatric RN), it says that benzos such as xanax will cause short term memory loss. Depending on how much he was given, it is possible he may not recall some parts of his hearing yesterday.

Yes it is. If he was evaluated as dangerous and psychotic, then the state can step in and medicate you. He must have been misbehaving in lock up or showing some behaviors that warranted his medicated state.

Another thing to consider is, he may have snapped out of his "daze" and started to panic and asked for something to help him calm down.

I am not saying i dont believe that he is/was drugged. I believe that 100% . But i have lived with and grown up with/around a lot of people who regularly take valium xanax and others. While after long term use, some of them say remembering something that happened a while back might be hard but does not "erase" memories after being dosed up good n proper once or twice. This man wont simply have a blank spot where this court hearing is meant to be . He would also not be jus rolling his eyes and bobbing his head , if this man was given enough xanax to make him not remember this appearance in court, he would have dropped dead before he made it to the court room .

He may, afterwards, find it a little blurry or be confused, as does a night out on the grog, but he wont just forget it happened.

He looks to me as if he's been lobotomized. I watched the court vid, he looks like he has absolutely no idea of where he is or what's happening around him. He is barely functioning.

So I'm watching Fox News and watching the court apperence of the suspect of the movie theater shooting.

The video and audio is cutting in and out.

The broadcaster says sorry about the feed it's being filmed with a cell phone. There is nothing we can do about this.

First, it does not look like its being filmed with a cell phone.

And since when do courts film such events with one?

Is there a link for this please?

Schizophrenia can hit suddenly, hard and heavy, and usually presents in somebody in their late teens or 20s. To me, he looks like he hasn't slept in a long time (hard to do under the circumstances in jail and the middle of a media frenzy) and that he's severely mentally ill and barely realizing where he is or what's happening. Whether he's controlled or drugged is another matter. It could even be a matter of, he was on prescriptions and suddenly went off them. The kick back from sudden stopping of drugs can be extreme.

You are all trying to read a lot into this that isn't necessary. Up to 20% of the population is mentally ill and on anti-depressant, anti-anxiety or anti-psychotic drugs. It's not something that he 'planned' so he could get a lighter sentence. Do you really think someone who would do something like this is sane, in any possible definition of the word?

Where the weapons came from and how he afforded them is another issue, but since he was in school, he may have bought them with student loan money during one of his more manic phases. Manic people can seem very normal, if oddly energetic, to a casual observer.

That's what I was wondering. You'd think the attorney would have advised a hair cut/shave to lose that crazy orange do, unless they are going to work the 'crazy' angle. Guess they won't need much help there.
