I was speaking with a co-worker this evening about many things. At one point (at least in my mind) the topic moved to fukushima. So, I started talking about many aspects of the disaster...after a few minutes, my co-worker looked at me and said "what is Fukushima?"

needless to say; I went into a brief synopsis of what is really going on. Then she said "but I haven't heard any of this on the news...."

Just thought I would share this. While my co-worker is a very nice woman, she is one of those people who believes the MSM 100% and any change to that is a major paradigm shift.

There has to be a happy medium between tin foil hat and alligence to MSM.

best of luck!!!

Get used to it. 90% of ALL people will ask "Whats Fukushima?" I have been playing the Fukushima game for over a year now. I ask if they have heard the latest, they don't have a clue and I know who I don't care to hangout with.

What's Fukushima says so much about Americans.... None of it I like.

I would say that 99% of the time I bring up Fukushima people have no clue what the h#ll i'm talking about. Most Americans couldn't pick out Japan on the map let alone know what Fukushima is..Unless it has something to do with their phones or FB they just don't care.

Talk about synchronicity....I just had the same conversation with my wife and kids tonight! We were just talking about crazy things happening around the world and I mention Fukushima and they all looked at me with a blank stare and said, "what the heck is Fukushima"? I couldn't believe it. How is it possible they don't know about one of the worst nuclear fallouts since Chernobyl? Of course, I didn't dare to ask them about that one.

My wife likes to make a little fun at me at times, because I'm constantly searching the internet and reading forums like ATS. She says stuff like,"Oh here comes one of your crazy theories again", or "Oh did you read that on the internet?", like if it's only true if it comes from the Main Stream Media (MSM). She like so many others only know what the MSM tells them and even then they only listened to the parts that interest them.

So if they don't know what Fukushima is and how it could affect our lives one day, then appearently MSM is not doing their job (no kidding) and more people need to start searching out the news for themselves.
