The Sunday Times reports further that "panic rooms have been installed beneath the stadium as a haven for VIPs and spectators in the event of an attack."".
i wish they had a thumbs up link here . I didn't know there was a G20 meeting somewhere in the world at this time . Very strange indeed to plan it at the same time as the Olympics . Hardy a necessity . Poor Julie , missing out on her front seat box at Olympics.

PRIME Minister Julia Gillard's decision not to attend the London Olympics has raised the ire of Australian Olympic boss John Coates
Ms Gillard will be attending the G20 leaders meeting and the UN Sustainable Development Conference at the time of the dinner.

I find it utterly strange that the G20 leaders meeting would be held at this time. Why was the G20 scheduled for this time when making the date a little before or a little after would have avoided the conflict of dates. The Olympics is only held every 4 years.
I see two possibilities here. The G20 leaders are in the know and the date conflict is deliberate.
Or while all eyes are on the Olympics someone will blow up the G20 leaders just prior to a planned attack in the Middle East.
It is frustrating having to write scenarios that are yin/yang because of a lack of knowledge on the real situation. Perfect time to take out the G20 leaders though. The media would have an ideal excuse for giving it only passing coverage. They could blame this on Iran. Are the Olympics just the distraction?

Iran has competitors going to the Olympics
So does Israel
So instead of killing each other ,man/or woman up and do battle at the games in true warrior style -Synchronised swimming ?? or table tennis ?? the winner of the most medals is deemed champion of the Mid east and the loser has to shutup for 4 years.

Iran's president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has said he would like to come to the London Olympics but will not be attending because Britain has "a problem" with him.
No S#it , what would possibly make him think that?edit on 22-7-2012 by 12voltz because: (no reason given)

Julia Gillard is not planning to attend the Australian Olympic Committee's June 23, 2012 fund-raising event in Melbourne.
The Australian prime minister usually makes the keynote address at the fund-raising dinner which is attended by some 1400 guests who spend $22,000 for each table.
Instead of attending the fund-raising dinner, Julia Gillard will reportedly be attending the G20 leaders meeting and the UN Sustainable Development Conference.
Thats very strange that the above quote from me is not fully my statement . I did not refer to the G20 leaders being blown up at all . Not my type of language or statements I make . I only make reference to a thought rather than a blanket statement of some sort of pretend violence .

Obviously not, since the meeting referred to took place in June

Anyone with half a brain knows that these rooms are for VIP spectators, not VIPs and spectators. There wouldn't be enough room for the "spectators".
What's the bet they will be able to watch the attack in 5 star comfort on a big screen like Bush did during 9/11?
