b) this event would involve blood letting or a blood sacrifice. [check]
c) it would surround the new batman movie. [check]
d) it would happen 24 hours on either side of the 19th [another check]

Say what you want, but if you are not even open to the possibility that this is a pretty strange coincidence *at the very least* andt say "nope, nothing to see here. Definitively nothing out of the ordinary has happened." Then it just seems like skeptic/debunker mode has itself gone into a denial of sorts.

Does it mean what the OP said? I don't know. I can remain skeptical but open minded about it at the same time. I don't see why people have such a problem with entertaining possibilities, especially when the circumstantial evidence is so compelling.

I have read a lot of unity_99s posts, as they are a fairly relentless poster. What does the massacre of 12 people by a movie obsessed drug addicted kid have to do with satanists and NWO? If unity_99 was to connect his/her fantasy narrative to events in reality, I guess that's fine for trivial, unimportant things which we can not change. Tragedies which need to be looked at with real critical eyes in order for us to learn from it. I won't tolerate babble in place of real explanations of extreme human behaviour.

Should I run for the hills? I posted earlier about that Jim Carrey movie. My son and I share a love of conspiracies but we both thought that movie started getting a tad silly after awhile. Numbers don't explain that an insane person decided to murder as many people as he could.

300 flags, and too many damn replies basically talking about nothing. I just saw the movie about 10 minutes ago. If you think this movie has any symbolism in it besides bats, your obviously paranoid. That, or you didn't watch the movie and your just trying to make a conspiracy out of nothing.

It seems like, for as often as the members here like to stroke their ego and talk about how everyone at ATS is a critical thinker and whatnot, this thread is beyond absurd.
I can tell you that at least the 300 people here at ATS who gave this thread a flag have no clue about critical thinking skills.

I joined because this place had choice intelligent discussion when I first clicked on a page 5 years ago.
I lurked for a long minute before even joining.

But it seems like the Japan disaster brought the riff-raff in from the fringes.
That and a big purge of a good number of the top posters about a year ago.

I don't know if they quit or were banned, but some of the most critically minded folks just dropped off the face.
I started posting about 3 months ago because I began seeing a ton of threads like this...
Where the absurdity has been taken to a whole nuther level.

I understand your point, as I joined in Jan of 11 I would still be considered a nobody to a lot of the "Long time members", but I joined because I liked what I saw and I like reading others thoughts and conspiracies, some do go off the deep end but in no way would I ever insult someones thread if i don't like what i see I just don't read it, I skip over to the stuff I like. Notice the OP putting his thoughts down and welcoming the thoughts and opinions of others now why would you and others like vandettas waste time and put down how wrong they are.

there is another site for the hard core conspirators that would be better for them, the only problem is the owner of that site (trinity) is a complete nut job who bans people and then tries to get money, this is the best site for people who like a good conspiracy, until another pops up, you guys and the true haters are just gonna have to deal with the "delusional", as for me I just like to read it. :-)
