High anxiety on the Hill about civilian drone use

I believe that drones should only be used for criminals on the run or for search and rescue missions. Why? Because they are affordable and there's a higher chance for people to be rescued in those cases. However, I don't believe it should ever be used to patrol or be used to spy on civilians of any kind unless it's the feds breaking in and arresting someone or if it's used to patrol our borders for recon of illegal activities.

It would be impossible to actually get the government to comply with just those restrictions and they would only try to add more exceptions inside bills like for anti-terrorism or anti-pedophile. The safest measure is to just not allow the use of these drones within our borders. I really like drone tech but you can't trust the government to use it for the right reasons.
