I think this is a bit harsh... The OP was just pointing out that Iran has been complicit in committing terrorist acts, from my POV I think that's fairly likely.... I'm not saying anything about whether they're justified or whatever but it seems to me a fair assertion. Of course, Israel are up to some pretty awful stuff too and I could never understand (even from a very young age I've wondered about it) why the west continues to support Israel, but I hardly think denying that Iran is part of the problem too is a particularly sensible viewpoint.

During the troubles with the IRA and the UK, both sides were involved in some pretty harsh stuff. The IRA blew up plenty of people for seemingly no good reason and apparently for no benefit to their cause (which addresses the comment on pg 1 about, "why would Iran do that, it serves no apparent purpose"). But, whilst the IRA were guilty of atrocities the SAS were rounding up known IRA memebrs and shooting them in the woods. There's always blame on both sides, violence breeds more violence and is never the answer. The 'peace' in Ireland (or between the IRA and the UK) was brokered by diplomatic means.

There are quite a few on here that deny facts and muddy the waters. No one is 100% right, including me (shocker), but how can you swallow everything the gov't and MSM spoonfeed you and ask for more?
