Ok, he snapped and decided to kill in the Batman's premiere. Why? Because he was probably a fan. But he didn't watch the movie! As a mad fan I would watch the premiere first and murder in another day.. I don't really know..

The only gaps I have seen are the ones you conspiracy theorists find with a biased view point. You are looking for gaps with the media who rarely get things right and make many mistakes, and gaps with witnesses who are rarely reliable when they have gone through a traumatic event.

You are also asking completely irrelevant questions based on what you consider normal behavior... Take your above quote for example... no offense, but it is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. You are questioning why he did it during the Batman premiere.... Then you create some crazy question like "Why didn't he watch the movie first?"... That is freaking ridiculous. That is your gap? A stupid gap that you created based on absolutely nothing but your opinion of how "normal" people would act? Psychotic people are nothing but normal for your information. And, what makes you think he didn't already see the movie? That's right, you don't know.

You guys are so hell bent on this not being just some psychotic guy with above average intelligence going postal that you actually create "gaps" instead of find real ones to support your belief.

I understand your straight aproach, but it doesn't seem you understand ours. We are raising questions, and by definition any point raised is valid to be dismissed or considered, but never to be taken as ridiculous. What he did is ridiculous to imagine, and he did it.

None of "us" is saying he didn't do it. We just think the scenario is more complex and I personally believe there're more people involved. And if this is true, they are very free in the streets.

Finally, psychotic people are not normal people indeed, but they nonetheless follow certain patterns, sometimes very clear patterns. Such as perhaps watching the film in its premiere. It was just a conjecture.

I quite agree with you there; there is soooooooooooo much more to this and a majority of the Public from my prospective are already sucked in.

Good grief, I hope many of those who never questions anything, especially from Colorado, NEVER get called up for jury service in this case.

There is also discrepancy between reports of those recovering from wounds about the shooter shouting and the witness(s) who said he didn't say a word.

That's really interesting, I'd imagine it would be difficult to hear yelling through the mask while the loud movie was playing except for those who were relatively close to where he was standing.

I really wish that the person(s) who were sitting directly next to him in the theater could be interviewed since all accounts thus far are pretty vague about him prior to leaving the theater through the emergency exit. There have been no details whatsoever about him other than he appeared to have answered a phone call and then walked out. No description of any kind during the pre-SWAT gear portion of the ordeal.

Im sorry, I didn't know autism was treated as a mentail illness. That's not right.
I have acquired brain injury ABI. I don't know how your daughter feels but I just know this brain not working business is hard to cope with, for everyone involved.

I thought most news stories are still available, archived. You can go back years, but these pages look like they all got deleted.

Alot in my opinion! No to mention, he gave contrary evidence to the witnesses who said the shooter yelled alot.

It's so transparent and obvious what is going on, and many are getting it, and with all the police shooting people, there was a riot in Dallas, its so transparent.

Are they really going for gun control?

Or are they trying to incite something, really make make people mad?

He's the one who said he was only 5 8 too, so there's the height discrepency when Holmes is at least 6 feet tall.

I'm not disagreeing there's evidence not syncing and I've contributed to this thread with my own ideas why, but I personally do not see what him being an actor proves.

Is he also the one who said the door got kicked in when the door opens out?

INDEED! Okay. People are JUST settling in for this movie, right? Everyone is filled to the brim with popcorn and soda. This popcorn and soda would've gone flying when it all went down, so... Where is it all? I haven't seen one person with soda stains, popcorn smashed into their clothing, hair, etc. No popcorn trails leading outside in the stampede to vacate, etc. Why?

ETA: I've seen the picture or pictures of strategically dumped popcorn buckets far away from the crime scene. There should be visible tracking of it just outside the door, where moviegoers, assailant(s), and police were walking, running, crawling, jumping.

The popcorn would be in the theatre and we haven't seen pics of that yet. There were pics of popcorn buckets outside. The drinks might have just spilt to the ground or got drank up already. Who knows.

It's possible that the witnesses who gave interviews were the ones who felt cleaner and not soaked in sticky soda pop.

popcorn doesn't stick to clothing for that long, any that did stick would be tiny specks, hardly visible. Theatre popcorn isn't that buttery to dampen it enough to adhere to clothes. If any did stick, it would have fallen off them, blown away or got trampled on. Everybody would have been rubbing it off each other as well if i they had it on their clothes. There was crowds of people brushing up against each other trying to get out, people hugging , more rubbing. These are reasonable explanations.

I had mentioned this in another post, but I will reiterate. The following tidbit is from a Reuters article which includes Jacobsen's opinion (read: smear job)

But he recently quit the program. A person who works in the neuroscience lab said Holmes did not join the other doctoral students at an end-of-the-year celebration in a local pub. Instead, a professor stopped by the impromptu party to tell everyone that Holmes had withdrawn from the program, with the clear implication that he had fallen behind academically, this source said.

So. A... PERSON stated that Holmes didn't show at the pub, yet a PROFESSOR stopped in to tell them Holmes had withdrawn. So this is alleged information twice removed. And this PERSON is making the assumption that Holmes had fallen behind academically.

So we don't know what the truth is. And unfortunately, I'm hearing a lot of "gossip" regarding his personal life, gaming habits, attitude, intelligence, etc. that are all pretty much unfounded. There is a whole chunk o public out there that are building their own ideas regarding what this guy was like, and presuming guilt, based solely on media speculation.
