I don't think that anyone should freely give bigots money. Yes the food is delicious, is a chicken sandwich worth violating my principles? Absolutely not.

Those of you who are encouraged by this.... Well at least I know who amongst us is willingly to spit on the concept of civil rights.

How long before the MSM gets the political cheerleaders in an uproar about a picture of Romney or Obama eating at a chick-fil-a

Chick-Fil-A changes coming as a public traded corporation.

1. CEO will be fired because of hesitation to decrease product quality,worker compensations, and opening on Sundays.
2. New CEO will decrease pay,decrease product quality,increase cost,open 7 days a week 24/7
3. We will get the 99cent value menu with something that resembles a chicken.
4. It will be re-branded as CFA in order to sell burgers,fish sandwiches.

You know I appreciate the fact that you would go to a 'Mom and Pop' shop, as that is the type of business that I operate. A little seafood restaurant and market here on the east coast of the United States. So what I am about to tell you may come as a little shock. It doesnt matter if you get your chicken sandwich from my place or McDonalds or Bojangles, or Chic-Fil-A its all a corporate mess. Most Mom and Pop stores still use a food distributor like Sysco or US Foods or whatever, you cant run from their franken-foods.....its too little too late

Chic-Fil-A is a corporate bulliy. I will never eat there again after watching this.

Don't you see? It's not about the food; it's about the service, the people that own, run and work in a mom and pop establishment. I would rather pay more in a place where someone cares about me and my patronage than just be a "take a number'" customer ; shuffled in and out for expediency. I want to establish a rapport with the owners, the waitresses and the other customers; where someone calls out "hey olaru, how's it hangin"
I want to be treated like I treat the patrons in my business; with dignity, respect and a degree of friendship. When I can establish that; they return. I don't think Dan Cathy can deliver that in a stinking chain and as far as I'm concerned Dan Cathy with his religious arrogance can go straight to hell.

Oh, Im sorry i thought the complaints against the corporate food giants were directed more towards the quality and not the service. I apologize, that was my misunderstanding. I do agree that service is the way to win customers. If you have great customer service, your customers will keep coming back. That is an aspect of my business that we work on daily. I may fail miserably on customer service on tuesday, but im right back wednesday trying to improve on my mistakes and failure.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I guess im just fed up with all the franken-foods myself, and its been frustrating me and been on my mind.

ETA: something I just thought about, you say you would rather patronize someones business who you can get to know, how is that not accomplished at a Chic-Fil-A? I ate there yesterday and it was run by people in my community, they were all friendly, the manager was out speaking to customers and running food to tables, and those are real people, from our communities that depend on this corporation for their bills and living expenses. I may not know Dan Cathy personally, but from the business that he runs and how well ive been treated at CFA it wont stop me from going there from time to time. Its also not like his store policy is 'pick out the homos and treat them differently' no he just said he doesnt agree with their lifestyle and doesnt support it. No big deal really.

As for me, im indifferent, if youre gay, do what you want, just leave me and mine out of it.

I wouldnt have a problem with gay rights if they would stop promoting it in TV and parades and this and that.

Get over yourselves gay people...Gayness does not perpetuate the human race...

In the Western World..."marriage" is a religious conscration primarily of the Judeo-Christian value set. Which also happen to not allow homosexual acts as part of said religions. One may not agree with that. But It doesn't change the fact. Since those of the Judeo/Christian religons are opposed to homosexuality, they don't agree with their relgious consecration being essentially mocked or descrated by those who are involved in actions that are contrary to that religious act (marriage).

Again, one may disagree with that, but that's the position. Most are fine with "civil unions", just don't call it marriage.

2nd to that is essentially marriage was the act by which two people were bonded to produce children. Again, not something two homosexual's can biologically do.

Marriage may have different connetations today, but that's the basic jist of the history of it, and where many still stand.

So, because the owner of Chic Fillet, has a particular personal religous point of view, he is an "NWO facist, communist, anti gay agenda"??? That's really rich....considering 2 of the 3, contradict each other
