USDA partnering with Mexico to boost food stamp participation

The Mexican government has been working with the United States Department of Agriculture to increase participation in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), or food stamps.

USDA has an agreement with Mexico to promote American food assistance programs, including food stamps, among Mexican Americans, Mexican nationals and migrant communities in America.

Buying votes is all it is. A mailer came in the mail from my local agriculture dept, pushing the food stamp program. It was mailed out to our whole rural community. It also included a statement that you could register to vote when applying....

This is a new program instigated in the past 5 weeks in our area. Fishing for food stamp recipients. And votes. It sucks!

Same government who says if you are not on food stamps your hurting your local economy.
