OH yea... trust me you do not want to work for "them"

its just like starwars bro, 1 bad guy owns both sides, you shoot at people also being told to shoot at you.

i don't ever recommend the military.

also, regardless of weather you have a college degree or not, its going to be tough.

it doesn't matter if you have one, or have the best grades, its all a joke.

i recommend you find a nice farm place, and try to look for work growing (organic) fruits and vegetables, as working for a non-organic farmer person might get you cancer because of all the pesticides.

become a hippie and ( well kinda ) and learn as much as you can about survival, learn all the herbs and plants that can help you in nature, and try to be healthy and live naturally. keep a bank account/ live in the woods?

or just drop money all together, have the farmer you work for pay you in stuff you can use/food.

i see this becoming really popular one day.

this does not mean "live like a hobo"

just a suggestion, make sure to make a safe decision.

i am not responsible for what happens or does not happen to you in any way, you have been warned.

peace.

Pick up a trade.

Are there trade schools in your area? You know, those technical high schools. They often have adult classes.

Plumbers are worth more than academics any day.

Apprentice with someone.

Check your state for certifications that you can get cheaply.

Volunteer somewhere to get your foot in the door.

Just dont start drinking or get knocked up and you'll have lots of options.

Work hard and resume build. You have to fit the corporate mold now in order to make it. I can't afford life either.

You can do literally anything you want, you just have to strive for it. A college degree is a worthless piece of paper. Unless you're pursuing law/medical degrees, you're wasting time and money.

You don't need a college degree to get ahead in life.

Start your own business.

get yourself a trade.

There are thousands of professions that people do which require little to no training and pay big bucks. They aren't easy and theres a lot of hard work in it, but the rewards are worth it.

In life it's about what you know and who you know.
Remember this because it's important to your survival.

With that being said, what are you good at?
Are you good with your hands?
Do you have a knack for fixing things?
Are you good at organizing things?

I was mediocre in school. However I'm a jack of all trades kind of guy with good problem solving skills.
I used that to go from Printing, to watchmaking and finally now working in the IT field.

You gotta take what you're good at and translate that into a job.

Gotta agree with you. Good tradesmen will likely be in short supply in the next couple decades. Plumbers can branch off into geothermal. Electricians can branch into solar. Mechanics can get into hybrids.

Work with your hands and learn a trade. I get the feeling you won't regret it down the road.

this.

its just a dumb piece of paper.

just like a marriage certificate.

if you love someone enough, a piece of paper is worthless.

people get "married" so that they HAVE to stay together. they are then legally bound and totally both get *****ed over if they get a divorce.

peace. (sorry for off topic)

Peace Corps (if you have a skill they can use)

Homelessness.

Vagrancy.

Camping in national forests. Careful you dont break any laws regarding poaching, damage or trespass.

You can basically live in a national forest as long as you follow all the rules like being so far from trails, moving your camp every 30 days, no litter, no poaching, no vandalism, etc....

You could couch surf around.

no. its not important.

its just stupid, and every fancy preppy family always has "high expectations"

"oh when he graduates he will be so smart heheh yes yess hehehe and he will go to college nyahahah we are such a smart family mehehehehe"

Pretty much............. school does not make you smart, because what should have been a place of learning is a brainwashing academy.

College, (or at least some of them) CAN be fun and cool (but really hard) but all you get is a dumb piece of paper and then its still hard to find work. (if you even pass the ridiculous workload of paperwork)

and it costs LOADS of money.

its not worth it in my opinion.

peace.

I've been really good at a lot of things in life, but until I got my engineering degree I never made any real money.

But I have to add, it was about the hardest thing I ever did. I went back to college full time at age 45.

Find something you have a passion for and can make money doing it. I love restaurants. I started when I was almost 16 and am now almost 30. I have learned and worked every position and now make a liveable salary. My fiancee doesn't have a college degree either and she triples my income working as an escrow officer for real estate. Even when the market crashed she wad still doing well. So there are options out there just give whatever you choose to do 100% and believe in yourself. Don't wait for someone to help you, get up get out and get something, don't let the days of your life pass by. Best wishes and good luck.

First you need to figure out what you're good at or at least what you would like to do.
And secondly if you want to do fun things and enjoy your hobbies you need money.

Alot of people work crappy jobs that make alot of money just so they can have money to do the things they enjoy.
Other people do work they enjoy but then don't make enough to enjoy vacations and stuff.

It all depends on how you want to prioritize your life.
