Syrian Tv channels are being hacked so I doubt they will be able to provide much news. All signs to me that this is a coordinated special forces attack .

More from the BBC.

1518: Our correspondent says residents on the street near the National Security Building said they had not heard an explosion or seen any emergency vehicles at the scene.

1512: More from the BBC's Lina Sinjab in Damascus, who has been to the scene of the reported bombing. She says she saw no broken windows in the area, and the roads were open. She says there was "no sign of any explosion".

www.bbc.co.uk...

This is interesting, "no signs of an explosion". Haven't both sides claimed this happened?

What a silly remark again. So if he were an Alawite or Sunni, they would have your approval?

In a few days, perhaps as early as Friday, June 15, at noon, the Syrians wanting to watch their national TV stations will see them replaced on their screens by TV programs created by the CIA. Studio-shot images will show massacres that are blamed on the Syrian Government, people demonstrating, ministers and generals resigning from their posts, President Al-Assad fleeing, the rebels gathering in the big city centers, and a new government installing itself in the presidential palace.

This is interesting that your Syrian friends are reporting that their news channels are being hacked. I saw this on David Ickes forum a few days ago.

OK I know that David Icke is a nutter, but the report is from Thierry Meyssan, not Icke.

The official SANA retracted suicide element. Now it's a simple terrorist explosion.

Appear to focus on the inside of buiding.

Ah that does clarify why there are no obvious signs of the blasts impact. Here is some more from the BBC on reported defections and accounts of what is happening in Damascus.

1540: The activist network, LCC Syria, is reporting on Twitter of defections from the army in Damascus (Qaboun) as well as Homs and Hama. There is no verification of these reports.

1534: Lina Sinjab BBC News, Damascus says: "There are signs that things have been rapidly changing in the last couple of days here. After 16 months of the uprising, the rebels are saying it's time to move forward. City residents say they've seen burnt government tanks."

1530: Gaber has told the BBC he is in Damascus: "Some places in Damascus look like a war zone, whilst others seem to be fine but you can see the fear on people's faces. Assad's forces started shelling some districts in Damascus three days ago. What you hear and observe all the time in Damascus is the helicopters firing day and night almost non-stop. Tanks shelled Qaboun, Barzeh and Midan last night."

You really are out of your depth concerning the issue of Turkish - Syrian relations .
It seems that you really don't know the actual demographics of Syrian people .
Assad and his government are in fact a minority within their own nation .
Assad's father was also same . Like father like son. Whether you like it or not the Alawite Clan is on it's way out .
Don't believe everything your " friend " says about Syrian regime .

If you really think that Assad and his regime are a benefit for their people and ME at large , well then, you are mistaken .

Iran is going to lose this battle of supremacy within Islamic world .

My guess: No,

Franz Ferdinand was a tad more important than the current/former Syrian Defence Minister in the general scheme of things.
