Will he? Or won't he? Will Willard release his last 10 years of tax returns?

Will he follow the tradition of presidential candidates releasing at a minimum of 2 years worth of tax returns? If you think he will, why do you think so? If you think he will continue to hide his returns, what do you think Mittens is hiding?

He is going to end up releasing something more substantial than the two years he is so far willing to provide. If he doesn't he puts securing his nomination in severe jeopardy. He should have done it back when Newt was on him about it during the primaries and this mess would be over. I don't think he did anything illegal with his taxes, however the reason he doesn't want to release them is he knows the American public won't like what they see. His tax returns have the potential to prove what the working class has been saying forever about how things are skewed to favor those at the top.

It is not a tradition and it is not even required. Ronald Reagan released 1 year, John Kerry released 1 year.

All that is required is financial disclosures, plain and simple.

If Romney decides to release 2 years, Democrats will want 4. If he decides to release 4, Democrats will want 8. It's a no win situation.

Romney should make a deal. Romney releases 5 years of tax returns if Obama releases his college transcripts.

Obama won't do this because just like he conned the literary world by saying he was born in Kenya, he most likely did the same thing to get a better advantage in college.

No. And there is no reason for him to. I totally agree with the previous poster.
Romney can agree to release a few years of tax returns and Obama can
release AUTHENTIC college transcripts ... and AUTHENTIC college paperwork
showing if he applied as an American or as a foreigner.

That would be a hoot ...
Watching the supposed 'transparency' in action by those two.

People like you will never consider any record Obama releases as being authentic never have never will. And while Romney may not have to release more of his tax returns legally. His refusal to do so has his campaign floundering and we haven't even got to the convention yet. An election cycle that should be devastating to Obama is turning into a cake walk, mostly due to Romney's self inflected wounds. This year should have been a no-brainer for Republicans. Instead they offered us a crowd of no-brainer's to choose from and then quickly dismissed the ones that could have legitimately gotten the crossover vote.

Ron Paul maybe even Santorum could have gotten away with not releasing further years out of principle without it negatively impacting their campaign. Romney however cannot. All it is doing is raising suspicions and casting doubt on him. He has already taken damage from it and each day that passes he takes more. He needs to lose the baggage get it over with and move on. On this he should take a look at how well Obama not releasing his long form BC right away turned out. And that had a much smaller amount of Americans demanding it.

Romney needs to stand firm here. First, he released at least five years of returns to McCain back in the 2008 campaign. Second, if there is anything wrong or illegal regarding his returns its the job of the IRS to investigate. So, far no investigation or charges from this Exec. Branch of the WH. Third, the SEC could investigate any wrong doing regarding any stock trades or investments. Again nothing is apparently wrong according to the SEC (another exec. branch office).

Time for some Quid Pro Quo. Our transparent president has plenty that he "could" share but has chosen not to. I'd like to start with Fast and Furious Documents and move on from there.

I'd like to hear these Khalid sheikh mohammed tapes
www.theblaze.com... ks/

I'd like Obama to explain why he was here www.breitbart.com... when official statements from his camp suggested otherwise.

Romney needs to stand his ground and refuse to fall into this obvious trap!!!

I'll leave it at this with this final request for Mr. Transparency...

I'll give you three years of tax returns if Obama will release the names and addresses of the tens of thousands of undisclosed donors from the 2008 campaign who reportedly donated upwards of a couple of hundred million dollars. There are alarming reports that a whole lot of that was foreign money. John McCain disclosed all the information on all his donors, Obama needs to do the same.

www.breitbart.com...

I am amazed that Obama is taking this course with such fury when he has so many undisclosed skeletons of his own hanging in his closet.

I am all for a thorough vetting of all presidential candidates. Obama was given a free pass in 2008 and it's time to pony up. Put them both through the same wringer and see who comes out clean. The same media standards MUST be applied evenly to both candidates. Let the people decide when all of the evidence is clear and unbiased.

He definitely will not.

He will essentially be implicating himself for lying to the SEC, or implicating himself for things which we do not know, and he obviously wants to keep it this way.
