And an article from the examiner AND the original article from the Telegraph

According to reports al-Qaeda flags are flying openly in some areas of Idlib and Aleppo provinces that straddle the borders with Turkey and Iraq (see article: Al-Qaeda tries to carve out a war for itself in Syria).

The flags are increasing more common in Syria, especially with the influx of new arms and cash in the region. The Daily Telegraph witnessed the black flag used by al Qaeda flying high in several villages and on pick up trucks of rebel fighters, the article noted.

“The place (Syria) is crawling with al-Qeada said one government official who spoke on the condition his name not be used. “They are being helped by the CIA and the Americans”, he said.

Al-Qaeda’s primary goal in Syria is to oust President Assad, who they consider one of its worst enemies.

Their secondary goal is to establish a foothold in the country and see the establishment of an Islamic state or caliphate in Syria.

Another goal is to draw the United States and NATO into another war in Syria, much like it did in Afghanistan.

Hmm.. So again, these are some of the rebels that the US is supporting eh?

The Daily Telegraph has seen al-Qaeda's flag flying openly in some areas of Idlib and Aleppo provinces that straddle the borders with Turkey and Iraq and fighters in the rebel Free Syrian Army have told how representatives of the militant group have tried in past months to win control of towns and villages.

"An al Qaeda group led by a man who called himself Abu Saddiq took control in Der Tezzeh," said one FSA rebel speaking on condition of anonymity.
- Telegraph

Atwan also noted, regarding the collapse of the U.S., "If this sounds far-fetched, it is sobering to consider that this virtually describes the downfall of the Soviet Union.”
Al-Qaeda’s strategy has been widely successful so far.

The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have cost the U.S. tens of thousands of lives and $1 trillion dollars or more in war costs.

Now the possibility exists of drawing the U.S. military into Syria?

According to one senior terrorism expert al-Qaeda has been conducting large scale suicide bombings and murdering innocent women and children in Syria with increased regularity.

This is part of a tactic being used by al-Qaeda to undermine peace efforts and increase pressure on the Syrian government which is largely being blamed now for all the violence.
-Examiner

So.. I can't say that ALL the rebels in Syria are al-qaeda (and I guess this all depends on your views of Al-qaeda) but according to this report, at least SOME are.. and considering how much the U.S. 'hates' them (lol... oh man the propaganda is amazing) WHY then are they helping the U.S.'s main 'terrorist enemy'.. even if Al-qaeda was an actualy, viable, not connected to U.S. terror group, WHY would they risk arming any rebel when those weapons could fall into 'Al-Qaeda' hands!!

Ugh... The main problem here is that the U.S. uses 'al-qaeda' as an ally when it needs and then turns around to scare the homeland, etc etc
Remember Libya? Oh right.. the Al-qaeda flag flying on buildings?!
ATS Thread - Libya: Al Qaeda flag flying high next to Libyan flag.,
Yet, this didnt make the MSM, because the US doesn;t want the sheep to know that al-qaeda is the 'terror; arm of the U.S./Pentagon! Remember, they helped the rebels in Libya? turns out that a majority of them were al-qaeda of course, yet noone seemed to care.. cause that time they were on the 'US side'.. HA! Hypocrites!

related threads,
CIA preparing to arm Syrian rebels
Syrian president: 'We are facing a war from abroad' - Hmm, sounds like gaddafi no?
US back Al-Qaeda to mutually destroy Syria?,
Obama supports al-Qaeda terrorists in Syria

Thoughts?!

We should start finding solutions to such problems. Any ideas? I'm over sitting around, watching the world crumble around. Especially on this website, I see people exposing and discussing issues but I think we now need to step it up and come up with solutions and execute said solutions in order to make a tangible difference.

Out go the nation states and in comes the Caliphate. It's been a few years, but they are determined to restore what they once had if it kills everyone outside their own people. It should be interesting when they stand as a unified power block. That won't be a laughing matter in influence or raw capability, IMO.

my conclusion regarding al qaeda is as follows:

it is the preemptive false creation of the people that are actually making war against America.

someone, somewhere knew that a force would emerge in the world and that it would be carrying a black flag with white script. it wasn't a psychic premonition or anything, but they knew. they knew also that this force would be blameless.

so...knowing what would come al qaeda was created in order that fingers could be pointed at this force once it arrived. the liar bin laden is a former associate of the creators of this fraud.

telling me that those women clothed from head to toe in black are a cell of an international terror organization is a total lie...

the international terror organization are the people that keep telling the lie.

so the answer to my question is NO, you weren't here for the other two.

me, i was living in these woods from before when the common history records that this land was ruled by France. I've been here so long, no one in this land could possibly verify the time of my arrival, as even the US government is a youngster compared to me.

until I was eight years old and saw a globe, I thought the whole world was France.

to understand America's story don't you think it would be appropriate to be deprived of your home by a foreign nation and spend some time in the wilderness first?

of course you don't.

Yes, it's not like I haven't been saying this for nearly a year now...

This news will not have any effect on the situation what so ever.

how does this make him less american than you?

my grandparents emigrated from the Caribbean and Sicily in the 1920's
so don't try to claim smack

and if thats you in your avy your ancestors had no choice in the matter, did they?

perhaps the next time there's a "send 'em back to africa" movement you might not want to be making such judgements

just a lil' suggestion.

when you aren't out of line with your advice or suggestions, it makes no difference when you got here. not to me or many others.

when you start calling for wars...the question is of utmost importance.

in some countries i'm sure the 'new guy' would be run out of town for suggesting a war such as an revolution.

in this country people move here and then try and usurp the other people that made a place for them to move. its gotten out of hand.

in all these countries that are overthrowing dictators...a theme is the 'new guys', often a foreign element, are being run out of the positions of power they acquired a generation or two ago. the people that are doing it is the people that are actually from that land.

its not my fault that some people in this world have decided to be a part of a marauding gang of child abusers that travel from place to place using up all the resources until they've sucked the place dry and then move on to the next and when there is no where else to go they get smooshed.

thank you for clarifying, not being one to call for a violent revolution myself,
[i'm a death by a thousand cuts/bleed the beast/self-empower
yourself until you too, can topple governments type myself]

i'll have to agree that most doing so are either naive, foolish, or agentes provocateurs

but [with the exception of the latter] never un-american [not accusing phroziac of being an a.p. either]

and i have never put up with the "love it or leave it" crowd

lol another recurring theme is that all these "evil dictators" seem to have in common the
ability of keeping many diverse peoples united as nations
and once they are removed or dead the nation self destructs along ethnic/religious/political lines
leading many people to start saying: this never happened when [insert "evil dictator"] was in charge
coincidence?

a perfect description of the american empires managers

alas, it seems you've much traveling to do
as you are still in the woods of france.

To underscore the personal meaning of events of international scope, I offer three scenarios on a small scale. These events don't involve countries and entire peoples. The players are a few individuals, and the setting is a single neighborhood.

It's your neighborhood, and you're one of the players.

Situation One:

Several of Sam's friends are viciously murdered. Sam says he knows who did it, and he can prove it. Most people, including Sam, think that the suspected murderer is hiding in Tom's house. Sam demands that Tom surrender the alleged killer. Tom responds that he'd be happy to do so; Tom requests only that Sam show him the evidence that the suspected killer is, in fact, guilty. Sam insists he has the evidence, so Tom can't imagine why the request would be problematic.

Sam refuses Tom's offer and repeats his demand that Tom surrender the supposedly guilty man without conditions. Tom says again that he'd be glad to comply with Sam's demand; he only asks that Sam offer the evidence that Sam says he has. This back-and-forth continues; neither Sam nor Tom will alter his position. In frustration, Tom finally declares: "Look, I'll do everything you demand. You say you have evidence proving he's guilty. So show it to me. Then you can have him. You can have everything you say you want."

At that point, Sam yells: "THIS MEANS WAR!!" Sam means it. He kills Tom and his entire family, destroys Tom's house, murders several of his neighbors and wrecks much of the neighborhood.

Seeming Madness: The Suffocating Unreality that Kills

How would you describe Sam's behavior? Note that, in all of these scenarios, Sam's victim repeatedly assures Sam that he can have whatever Sam says he wants. Every time, despite the fact that Sam can have everything he says he wants -- and despite the further fact that Sam gets everything he says he wants -- Sam's only response is: "THIS MEANS WAR!!"

We can certainly conclude that what Sam says he wants is not what he actually wants. The scenarios compel a further conclusion, an especially terrible one: what Sam actually wants can be achieved in only one way -- the destruction of his victim. And as I've indicated, the destruction always encompasses more than just a single victim: other people are destroyed as well.

It is tempting to say that Sam is a homicidal maniac. In one sense, that's true, and I will not argue the point. But the full truth is far worse: what if Sam isn't "just" a homicidal maniac? What if he knows exactly what he wants and has set in motion a plan to achieve it? Note this: so far, Sam's plan has worked.

****
For this is the view of the ruling class: "America is God. God's Will be done."

What they want is dominion over the world. They intend to have it. In pursuit of this aim, as they believe the necessity arises, they will destroy anyone and anything that stands in their way. To describe their behavior as insane is to miss the much more critical point, and to minimize the far greater danger. They know exactly what they're doing. They're hoping that you do not. To date, far too many people oblige them.

Don't help them in their pursuit of brutality, oppression, murder and vast destruction. I state again: they know exactly what they're doing. Be sure you judge them accordingly.

As far as your scenarios, it sounds like something from September/October 2001.

that being said, the house Tom was using to keep the fugitive from justice was the occupied property of a dead man, a man Tom had killed years earlier and everyone knows it and wanted him out of that house. Sam, knowing this, was dealing with a gang of murderers, who had turned a once beautiful home and gem of the community into a fortress from which to kill others, and walking away to get evidence the murderers would have considered acceptable would have been a waste of time...so he started hitting them with tactical nukes; a reasonable response.

Tom, knowing what was up from the very beginning is very upset now. the fugitive he supported is dead anyway and he's living in the Land of Nod...all because he thought someone was playing around about the issue at hand.

Sam is retired and spends his time writing his memoirs and hanging out with his friends and family who are all alive.

and for all that, Sam could go to Tom today and say to him; provide me evidence that what happened was caused by me and maybe I'll learn to give a crap.

anywho...al qaeda, the bin laden version, doesn't own a Black Flag, nor does the Mahdi.

whoever or whatever those Black Flags represent have nothing at all to do with either, but probably something else entirely.
