A new internet game is about to be launched which allows 'super snooper' players to plug into the nation's CCTV cameras and report on members of the public committing crimes.
The 'Internet Eyes' service involves players scouring thousands of CCTV cameras installed in shops, businesses and town centres across Britain looking for law-breakers.
Players who help catch the most criminals each month will win cash prizes up to £1,000.

That's a rather sweeping statement, from a man who should be aware that some criminals are just too dangerous, and certain materials and evidence are too upsetting for the public to deal with. The government agents are highly trained for a reason.

Is that so they can # it up while ignoring evidence? You want highly highly trained , I'd invite you to revisit the case of Doctor Harold Shipmann .
250 (cold blooded) murders later , someone , 'the only? professional' actually listened to yet another complaint , from the public .
But he's a GP? Surely not ?

offtopic example, locally here in Metro Vancouver we banned smoking at beaches and inside restaurants etc..
it has now given some family who lives next to a smoker here the ability to feel they can restrict smoking in people's personal property now as they are trying to remove his ability to do it, ON HIS OWN PROPERTY.
where do you think this type of perversion is going to lead???
