Hi
i was browsing my mobile phone and the pictures I have taken over time and i found this picture
imageshack.us...

At the time I remember taking a shot of the sky and thinking what a nice sky.
(I did not take the pic for the strange "blob" in it which I found later on.)
I have no idea what the "blob" is in the picture. Has anyone got an idea?
I can send the HD JPEG if someone wants it. The ATS image uploader would not let me upload the jpg.
It was taken from the pinhole camera from my Samsung Galaxy S2.

Pretty sure that is a sea gull. Yep, definitely, a bird in flight.

Well I was thinking about a bird but it seems the tail is too very long?
Would you agree?
Maybe it is a bug in front of the camera?

EDIT :
Ahh looking again you are dead right - a seagul. *slaps head*

Do you recall where you were? This looks suspiciously like a rather large and elaborate kite, to me. Were you by any chance at a beach or park? Kinda hard to tell with no context for distance..hence size.. Heck it could be a plastic bag caught on a windy day and opened in an odd angle for just a flash of an instant too.

Or maybe, a pterodactyl?

Definitely not a falcon, eagle or bird of prey. Profile is all wrong. I am 99.9% sure this is a common gull.

OR IS IT??

Could it be a new military seeker drone based on bird like forms and aerodynamics?? Just saying!

I should really have a mental note when looking at pics - look at it from multiple angles

Oh god ..embarrassed about not spotting it..doh..
What does one do about these debunked threads, do I tell a mod to delete it or something?

It is a seagull....the left wing is bent at an angle down....so the right wing looks longer. absolutely 10000% seagull...

Deffinately Nibiru, I had no idea it was so close though, it appears to be in front of the clouds. Judging by the size comparison, cloud to Nibiru, i would judge it to be roughly the size of a medium/large bird. Would have thought it would be bigger.

Here it is cropped out and blown up.

Looks like a gull of some sort to me.

Dear OP,

With almost 99% certainty, you captured a bird not a blob. But you got the "b' part right

Looks like a Gull of some sort, flying from right to left, with it's wings on their downward stroke.

Hope this helps.

Well, you just did by saying that if they agree... I'm thinking you'd want to drop a note direct by the complaint or alert note if you're serious. Your thread started a good discussion tho... I saw nothing wrong with it.
It is an odd looking shape and worth pondering..

Personally..I still think the proportions of wings to 'head' to tail are all wrong for a bird...but that's just me.
